I figured this would happen, but both figures are growing on me with this new batch of pics....

I can see Scarecrow in the suit, right next to BR Joker, and my pockets with $400 fewer dollars to burn through them.

Thriller and "Billie Jean" MJ also have those boxes, though I'm not sure if they are considered "limited editions" or not. Maybe the "Icons" sub-license has something to do with it?

i think you're right. pretty sure all the M-Icons have these foam trays so far. i read in the Q&A with HT about the anniversary event that they wanted to make the packaging for these special - hence the faux leather effect on the boxes. i'm sure the foam is part of that too. probably don't do it on regular MMS releases because of cost.

Demon Bats is looking better and better but his suit kinda looks like it has suffered burn damage rather than Hot Toys creating a new figure. Really don't like the headsculpt though.

I'm totally pumped and about to do something insane...2 SCARECROW FIGURES. I have plenty of shoes from T-1000 so I could make a regular business suit look and then the straightjacket look.

I only need one Demon Batman, but if I go through with this then that leaves me with an extra Demon Batman....

We complain about the prices...yet any decent in-hand pics give us wood and we go running to the Bay driving up or at least sustaining these lame prices. What can ya do.

I hope to snag one of these but if that 4,000 quantity is true then sweet. I couldn't care less how limited it is. I just think it will look rockin on the shelf!

Decided to hold off all other Hot Toys purchases untill I know what's happening with this.

I've been out of the loop in regards to these figures and this thread, just been skimming here and there and only now took real interest when the in-hand pics started showing up. Just scanned over ebay for these and I just over the prices.

Nice looking figures. I would only be interested in Scarecrow. I see no point in forking out the extra cash for the Demon Batman who was on screen for less than a minuet.

Im going to whine like everyone else when I say its total crap that they made scarecrow an exclusive. In fact, I want to whine even more now after seeing those in-hand pics. Seriously though, I've wanted a scarecrow since HT came out with their original Begins figure. I just think it's annoying that a highly requested character is made so limited. They should have made just demon bats the exclusive, which would have been more reasonable.

Doing the same thing and holding off. Going to be a long wait until March though to see if Eric at Toys2 gets any.

Agree, especially since there is so much time between films. Would have been easy for them to continue cashing in on the license by making a Scarecrow in the meantime.

Or released Scarecrow and Ra's al Ghul as a two pack, but gave it a general release. Therefore finishing off the villains in the line. And as said, just released the demon batman as the exclusive.

Thought i'd post this here to see if there was interest:

Cheungkinmen has made a nice Cillian Murphy Dr. Crane head - however, I myself would only be interested in a Dr. Crane head from when the Demon bats grabs him and Dr. Crane has a crazy/frightened expression on his face and says 'Dr. Crane is not here'.

Cheungkinmen would consider sculpting that particular scene specific expression for us if there was enough interest.

So there's 2 people interested, any more takers? This would make a superb mini display for anyone getting this set, and would make killer use of the Demon Bats.

So, here's the painted head, with the glasses. The Glasses are not final, they needed some shortening and the gap you see in the corner was for handling it tooooo much. The ones you will receive will be uncut and you will get 4 uncut glasses, I want to include a pair more, making it 6 glasses for the same amount, I'll see what I can do.

Anyways, I will start painting and shipping all the heads in a couple of days. Got some important business I need to attend first or people will kill me, haha.
