Meh, I still don't like Gadot. The costume is great and she does have a certain beauty, but her body just isn't suited for Wonder Woman. Diana is supposed to be something akin to a Greek goddess. And everyone I showed Gadot-as-WW to, just doesn't see the resemblance in the body type. Hell, my mother had muscle definition than Gal. And yeah, I've seen her "gym pics', and it still isn't enough.

Besides, it's not like she's an excellent actress that will nail the role no matter what. Personally I'm concerned that we've yet to see her deliver a single line of dialog, what with BvS launching in March and all. I'm not in the "hater" camp, but I'm not in the "lover" camp either. I'll remain cautiously optimistic...

well she's proven to be at least serviceable as an actress in her previous films, it's not like dawn of justice is the first time she's ever acted on camera, she's done other stuff where she's been required to act tough and deliver lines and it was perfectly fine.
she needs to sell the character believably, but she doesn't need to be an academy award winning actress to play the part, this isn't the next chapter of the godfather series or something.

Her biggest roles were in Fast&Furious were she played a "bad-ass chick". It's not a demanding role, all you have to do is look cool and let your stunt-double do the dangerous stuff. Diana though is a complex character when handled correctly. She's the closest thing Comics have to the Ancient Myths, so she must be treated with delicacy. I'm not saying she'll be awful, but I'm not sold yet...

I think Gadot looks great as WW, in the photos that I've seen. How she actually does in the role I'll wait to judge after seeing the film, depending on how much screen time she gets.

I recall reading that many people thought Reeve wasn't the right choice for Supes in the '78 film; now he's pretty much the only Supes that many people swear up and down by. Many thought Ledger couldn't match Nicholson's performance as The Joker from the '89 Batman; turns out that it was so good, people are now wondering if Leto's performance will match his.

I suppose the moral is wait and see the film(s) first.

It's movie magic I suppose. Because I don't think she looks like her self in the trailers. So I'm glad she at least looks the part, despite the underdeveloped muscles. The costume is way better than I thought it could be too.

But yeah acting is my concern, I'm sure shell be fine as a cameo, but carrying her own movie is something else

Freaks boards are alive with nay sayers....I remember when so many guys tore TDK up finding out that Ledger was Joker...they deemed the film a disaster

Eh, there's a difference. Ledger may not have been a big name or anything, but he had already been in a couple of starring roles and had just come out of Brokeback Mountain. He was a good actor, it's just that most were conerned with whether he could do the Joker justice. And when the trailers hit, we saw his portrayal, albeit briefly.

With Gadot, you have no previous works to look at apart from F&F and some romantic-comedies. Plus, in all of the released trailers we still haven't heard say a word. That, for me at least, is concerning... Then again, I am the guys who paid to see SM3 three times, so who am I to judge?

Looks like knightmare batman won't come with just the same faceplates as the regular.
