It seems like forever since I reviewed a Hot Toys figure, let alone a Hot Toys Marvel figure. But let's get back to it tonight with a look at the very cool, but way over priced Black Panther:

or you can find it with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the review Michael! :) I agree that what kills this figure for me is not having the unmasked head, but otherwise I think it looks great. My 7" scale Legends Black Panther will do for now, LOL. :lol

Yea, I'm thinking I need to do one that involves someone grabbing someone they shouldn't...being as he's a 'cat' and all.

I don't pose comic heroes or villains with their masks off but I do agree for the price, this figure should have an unmasked head. I only bought this to get it out of the way for the onslaught of infinity war figures. I don't imagine he will have a radical redesign, maybe a cape. I got falcon using the same logic. I would get vision if he drops below $160 which could happen.

Very sound logic. The end is nigh.

Plus, the Black Panther movie will probably yield us one more! We could have 5-10 slightly different figures by the time all is said and done.

Should have come with a Boseman headsculpt. I love the final picture.

Great review, as always Michael! I appreciate what you do.

On a side note, maybe it's me, but I think the figure looks weird the way the narrow waist and abdominal section fits into the rib cage. I'm not sure if the waist is too skinny or the rib cage too big or if the transition between the two is too extreme, but it feels like the body doesn't quite look right in the skin tight suit. Also the way it looks like the material seems to get caught underneath the pelvis/hip piece also is a bit weird. I haven't seen anyone else mention it, so maybe it's just me.

Still holding out on this one till I see the solo movie's figure. I need a Boseman sculpt. And you're right, Michael, for that price, he's too light on accessories.
