thanks for info will display without harness and use a sculpt for a custom mr wayne
Harness is easy to get off...
I'm gonna start using flash photography + awkward posing on all my figures to get people to cancel their orders. I'll snatch em up and sell 'em back for double!
This is definitely the ultimate Begins Batman figure, and the Bale sculpt is awesome. It has still managed to convince me that I have no need to spend another $240 on this character. It's not worth the money for me. It's also made me realize that I like my Takara a lot more than I thought. I think it's proportioned better. Screen accurate weight and bulk, maybe not, but I think the head on each of the Hot Toys versions from the first movie is too big for the body. I've never liked the shape of the Hot Toys heads either. That's why the only one I've bought from either movie is the Demon. The details dominate visual attention on that one; shape is an afterthought.
Cancelled. I'm gonna to go buy some statues.
...there is now a new Kübler-Ross Five Stages for Batweenies when it comes to Hot Toys releases. Here it is in emoticon:

sold my original bats to get the new exclusive... Must say these recent pics make the mate finish look much nicer then the glossy finish on the original version... Anyone agree?

not many apparently. Seems like most prefer the shiny finish compared to this newer matte finish
Yeah, the Bale sculpt is why I would have bought it. I still might if I can find it cheaper. Although, the figures that were mandatory fall purchases have all been moved to 2012, so I might still try if it doesn't require too much effort.
The kind that that eBay guy sells. What the hell is a CIAN head?
I saw this earlier today:

If you don't have issue buying a. . ."CIAN" head

In his review Wookster said it wasn't easy you have to remove the belt, etc.
To make the transition from first night vigilante into fully-fledged caped crusader you first need to remove the harness. This is actually slightly trickier than you might first think, you need to remove the belt then undo the sliding buckle at the front. Now shrug off the rig like a vest and pass the leg loops down and over his boots (or undo the tiny clips on the inner thigh).
Hmmm I think its a solid recast of the Hot Toys Bruce Wayne head really.
