Nice figure, but I don´t trust HT anymore on their Batmen. Mine are slowly falling down...is this body armor really better than the other ones?

It's true that in the past most con exclusives have been in straight vac-formed trays. But as stated above the 10th anniversary figs and also the 'Silly Thing' Iron Man were packed in foam. I never expected the Shadow Pred to be in foam, but I secretlly hoped that the Secret Project IM and this Bruce Wayne might also be. Its not a real biggie for me, but that foam is kind of groovy + classy when ya get it!

AND FOR THE LAST TIME... THIS FIGURE ROCKS trust me!

But the new one this year, which I just finished reviewing (sent in today) didn't. Its a much better figure allround, but has regular packaging.

My biggest gripe about this figure is the box, I hate it. It is so stupid with the plastic, foam is so much nicer like the DX

What?! Ugh. This sucks. I'm canceling guys. I know so many are waiting for this so I won't try flipping it. Dunno who will bite on those high prices anyways knowing there's a plastic tray in the box.

I really agree with that. Although using a flash truly does show what a dust magnet this figure looks like it may be. Which is one of my largest concerns right now. I think the Hot Toys community's constant nit-picking and desires for things to be so ridiculously accurate has backfired. Hot Toys continues to raise the bar for the standard of their product, and in turn is actually making more problems arise. Especially with materials like this rubber. I now wish that we didn't ask so much from Hot Toys and just got a nice flat paint on a pvc figure. I don't plan to ever undress Bats and get him all Ken Doll orgy naked, and so I don't think the call for rubber suits is necessary, but Hot Toys is forced to make things more realistic for their consumer. Now we're paying for it.

What are you talking about? Nobody has ever complained about the OC Bats suit. Flat paint on a pvc figure? The original one is fine. That's the issue some people are unhappy about, the fact that HT didn't leave well enough alone a material and process that has held up well to date on the original figure.

Yup the matte finish looks more accurate than the older versions. My only complaint is the gauntlets should have a sheen to them, but that's easily fixed.
