Well the belt is not a problem, just undo the clips on his legs and the strap across his chest and loosen, I had very little problems getting it off, getting it back on would be a _____!
It's straight forward, took no more than 2 or 3 mins to remove or put back on
Harness is easy to get off, probably way harder to get on, but I never will put it back on. Getting the cape and head on is kind of tricky, they need a new design for putting on capes.
Getting on is easy too, trust me

In his review Wookster said it wasn't easy you have to remove the belt, etc.
No, I said "slightly trickier"

To make the transition from first night vigilante into fully-fledged caped crusader you first need to remove the harness. This is actually slightly trickier than you might first think, you need to remove the belt then undo the sliding buckle at the front. Now shrug off the rig like a vest and pass the leg loops down and over his boots (or undo the tiny clips on the inner thigh).

Head: easy
Harness: don't know, looks kind of tricky
Smokers: YES. Smoke penetrates everything.
It's trickier because it's a fiddly task, but the only tricky part is undoing and then redoing up the front buckle. Its more a comment to the sausage fingered folks out there. But it just takes minutes.

Yankee you have no interest in the figure :lol your more of an Iron Man fan and collector... why you trying to convince those on the fence NOT to buy one :wink1: (So some cancel and you can grab some more for yourself :lol eh at normal/close to normal prices?)

Id say just like in all the other threads, ignore those NOT getting the figure and coming and being vocal about it, and just get it. Just remember, this set is an exclusive, a great looking figure, a LOT of different display potential, and a price which is reasonable considering forthcoming releases...

keep the faith batfans... :lecture

So this is why the wait list exists. I never signed up for one because I figured people dont just order things and then cancel for no reason... clearly i was wrong

People cancel POs all the time for a variety of reasons - I've never had to use the waitlist, but it's a great feature of SSC's service.

I've unfortunately been ordering like a kid in a candy store with better items coming out each subsequent month, so I've had to cancel a lot. Last night I cancelled Han Solo Carbo PF as I really don't need a Solo icicle and I am finding that I am liking 1/6th stuff more.

My biggest gripe about this figure is the box, I hate it. It is so stupid with the plastic, foam is so much nicer like the DX

Well, it's not a DX, so it's like all other non DX Hot Toys packaging. :dunno

Scarecrow and Demon Bats weren't DX and they got foam.

Spider-Man is a MMS figure, not a DX with a similar box, but the Spider-Man box is nicer.

:huh

How is the Spiderman box nicer? No foam there.

Forgot about Scarecrow/Demon. That's kind of an exception isn't it. Aren't the vast majority of HT figures in plastic/cardboard? :huh

MWC's review makes it sound identical in design to Spiderman's box:

Packaging - ***
I usually really like the convention exclusive packaging, but this didn’t fire me up so much. It has a nice quirky feel, as in a graphic way it mimics the way the harness fits over the armoured bodyglove, but it just feels a tad flat considering how cool the figure inside is.

It follows a similar form to ones we have gotten the Marvel characters in so far, meaning it’s a simple lift off lid with the figure in the bottom half with a printed card divider and a tray of accessories attached to the inside of the lid. I was hoping he might come in a nice snug foam surround, but instead it’s the usual vac formed tray.

So it’s an interesting and well put together little box, but on this occasion it doesn’t quite do justice to the contents

The only nice thing about the Spider-man box is how they did the top. The design on the sides and everywhere else is a bit fussy. The interior packaging is no where near a DX box.

But yeah, they should foam everything.

The raised Spider? Yeah, it's cute, but I have no problem with the box design here. I just stack the boxes up in the basement anyway. :dunno

Yeah, just the general applications they applied to replicate the suit. I like.

I don't know, I feel like the images of the figure and the Spider-man half-tone band on the sides are unnecessary.

The Spider-Man box has a nice presentation overall. The textures, the embossed, fabric spider, the raised lines it's all something to appreciate. A really nicely designed figure box.

This Toy Fairs Batman one though is one of the worst presentations I've seen (the worst being the Terminator boxes). No graphics, dinky survival suit harness illustration, it sucks.

Forgot about Scarecrow/Demon.

Still wasn't a DX. :nana:

Terminator 1 box I like. T2 boxes are meh.

I think the Toy Fair box art has a funky quality that I like... but it doesn't seem appropriate for Batman.

Well Bruce Lee MIS BOTH releases had foam... honestly I too expected a release like this to have the figure cradled in foam. It looks so much more classy and kinda 'secure'.

Its true though, the Toy Fairs Batman's outer box design and the internal vac trays are disappointing... but maybe thats where Hot Toys are trying to save money... :dunno

Yeah, the T1 box is superior to the T2 boxes.

With that said though they really could/should have gone with a "Tech Noir" feel. Design it like it was something from the 80s. Really flashy, something that would really pop.

Instead, it was just another silver slip cover. Though it was more inspired with the Cyberdyne machine feel than the crappy T2 boxes.
