I will sell the BW head right away, that's for sure. Don't need 2. I just didn't want to post it here, because I don't want to get pms asking me to sell it to a freak. I plan to squeeze as many dollars from it and I don't want to do that on this board. So no pms please.

Having this figure makes me want to get a Dark Knight-style Batman as well. Not gonna swallow the vig for the Hot Toys version, and I know they will do another Batman when the new film arrives.

But how about the DC Direct Dark Knight figure? Seems like the average price is $200. I know it won't be as zomgawesome as a HT figure but I'm thinking about getting one. I think I've seen some photos of it in this thread but I wanted to try to get some more opinions on it from you guys, especially how it compares to this "Batsuit Begins" figure. Should I expect a similar level of quality? Could I swap out the Bale head and plant it on the DC Direct Dark Knight body?

The DC Direct TDK Batman is noticably inferior ... even in pictures. Just wait for the TDKRises version. It'll likely just be a re-release of the DX (or an improvement on it). It'll be around $225. They've already announced the license, and it looks like the costume is the same on-set. Should be out within the year ... along with a Bane and a Catwoman, at a minimum.

Thanks a heap, I appreciate the input. I'll put a leash on my wallet for the time being then. I'm still new to the entire 1/6 figure thing so I'm still easy to please and get a little overzealous about getting more. The collector itch is hard to please! It's almost like effects pedals for my bass rig....I've got too many expensive hobbies.

So I have come to the decision. Another Bats or should I get Indy?

Does anyone else think they'll do an OC DX when TDKR comes out? They've milked it by rereleasing it but I still think the DX plus maybe the poseable cape from the Batpod would allow them to get more mileage out of it, plus a HT Wayne suit. I just can't see this being the last ever OC release given how much fans like the look of this outfit.

Most likely you are right- BB Batman back maybe not next year but year after ...HT will watch secondary market on current BB Batman and when prices start peaking...

I think this is the last OC we are going to see from HT, but there is always a little chance, maybe making a Bruce Wayne league of shadows or something. But I don't think it will come with the TDKR figures.

Received mine today and had a broken right foot. Might just get the refund on this since there's so many problems with it. I've never had to return something that was broken before so how does it work ? Do I have to pay for shipping back ?
