Might as well buy the figure IMO. Hard to find a QUALITY suit for under $100 anyway, unless I'm missing out on some other great suits somewhere that don't look like poo.

Yeah, I bought the TTL suit, the black one with the Fichtner sculpt. It looked good, and the price was right, but man, it's pretty crappy. The tie is awful (and tying a 1/6 tie is a brutal task), the jacket doesn't button, and the collar is only closed by the tie, not the button.

I've encountered the same situation once before. My wife and I teamed up and fabricated a new tie and found it to be a simpler task in tying it if you use sewing needle pins.

See that's what I'm talkin about. The medicom suit is great quality, looks sharp, and is well worth the money IMO.

I like the suit that Bruce Wayne use in Batman The Dark Knight, on the charity party for Harvey Dent, is a black classic suit. I was looking for one like that on eBay, but they always look like too bulky on the shoulders or something.. None of the suit I have seen on here, this forum (or anywhere) look "real" they all look a little bulky, I dont don't know... Anybody tried another suit? like the one Bruce Wayne used to ride the motocycle on TDK? that clothes was cool..

It's a pretty crazy world we live in when people actually think $100 for a 1:6 scale suit is acceptable and worth the money... i understand wanting to make Bruce figure look good but holy crap, especially when you factor in another $40-$60 on a TT.

I guess I need a better paying job...

That's my thoughts exactly. Not to knock anybody here, but when I saw the Kato prices for his Bruce Wayne Suit, I figured I could get a suit for myself tailored for me, which I did :wink1:

Granted the work that Kato does is amazing, but that's definitely a different league for me.

When I first joined this board looking for suits to complete a Bruce bash for my V1 TDK head, people were showing that Toys2 suit and saying the price was steep at $50. Nowadays, it seems that's chump change for clothing. What gives?

I am waiting patiently for Bane and Catwoman before bothering putting together a Bruce. He will go on my TDKR shelf so no rush. Hoping HT releases a suit set for Bruce like they did Tony Stark.

I can't believe how mad some of you guys are over the extremely tiny bit of gloss on the Bale HS, it's a tad bit ridiculous... mine has it and it's worse than some of pics posted in here and I could care less because it's still hardly noticeable.
It's very noticeable.

I sure as hell didn't pay 240 to receive a faulty packaged product.

also if you use anything but the narrow shoulder truetype, Bale comes out looking like this:
Looks awesome!

Testors gloss acrylic. I actually lucked out and mine turned out ok cause apparantly, the best way to do it is use a gloss spray. I used a gloss paint. Fortunately, it came out ok and the part where I used too much is on the inside wrist so its not visible.

Well Hot toys dropped the ball on this figure big time. I got my replacement body from Sideshow today. The rubber was sticky. There were imprints in the rubber where the harness was, and a crooked right knee cap again. I'm just going to get a refund.
