Haha, did you decide on getting the TakBats?
That the only real way of getting a good suit and body?
I was about to ask Mag the same question.
Basically you cut off the peg part that usually fits into the body and then put black electrical tape on the back to stick it to the inside of the cowl.
I'll post detailed pics if I ever post a neck mod tutorial. Although there didn't exactly seem to be an outpouring of interest in me doing so.
Actually, you probably wouldn't want to use the body it comes on, so you'd have to buy an additional body as well. If you're trying to make a Bruce on a budget you might want to find something else.

People have been doing it for years with the Hot Toys OC.
Pretty sure vodoun's OC that you covet so much has that set up.
I'm sure there would be a more permanent way to do it than electrical tape.
Anyway, you have to do something drastic in order to get the pegs placed like this:

I don't know if I have the cohoneez to do cut off the pegs. I'm not as craft as some people on these boards, not even with such a simple mod.

Worse than that is using sticky electrical tape goo on rubber
I no longer want a screen accurate Batman.
What's sad is that HT just doesn't get it right to begin with!

Took a few more photos last night. I'm using one of lforigno's capes, btw. I'm not using the pegs all, which is probably pretty obvious. I might do that at some point, but I'm happy with how it looks right now.

Arrived today.
Here's my review.

Better than OC 1.
Even the stock cape ain't so shabby.
But how the ____ do you put it on, WTF HT.
I also had to take anabolic steroids to get the wrist peg in, WTF HT.
Can't wait for custom cape to arrive!
I might've found someone in my same state selling just the Takara gaunlets, work in progress.
If falls thru then the entire Takara figure it will have to be, oh well, at least i'll have a FNO.
My DX02 now has Bruce's head, I didn't expect the neck to go so far down as it does, sits a little lower than expected but gives appropriate illusion of someone wearing a bulky costume.

It I were you, I wouldn't even bother trying to get the cape on. Why risk tearing the suit and driving yourself crazy in the process?

Yeah, I gave up.
The stock cape is not as bad as I was expecting though, it's a shame how difficult it is to get on.
I will definately be doing the clip mod, I have no problems cutting the posts.
Just have to figure out what's the best way to attach them.
Have to go look at all the photos for the correct placement as well.
I'm so happy to have him in my possession.

HAVE you tried twisting the pegs in ? instead of pushing in ..they will just go just takes some tryin and patience or someone with good dexterity in fingers ...i have weak finger muscles and had friend atach them.....but go in easy after once applied if come out later on......
