Great idea.:clap sorry to be a total noob but where can I buy those feet? my right one is broke and it pains me to see it like that.

Thanks. Toy Anxiety breaks down True Type figures and had some feet not long ago. Also can find them on eBay. Just be careful when you wedge the screwdriver under the foot. I kind of push slowing and forward. Not that hard, just don't want you to pry to hard and break the bottom of the sole. Then I twist and pull the plastic foot out. You can see where it was glued by the black on the clear foot, that's what you want to break loose. Good luck.

IT WORK!

OK, got my Batman back cause buyer said he received it broken. I check it out before I shipped it, but that the way the cookie crumbles. Anyways, I been thinking how am I going to repair the boot when I get it back. And just like most of my kit-bashes, I had repaired it in my head before I even got it back. It worked just as I had imagined. Now this repair isn't for the faint of heart, lol. I figured I had nothing to lose so I just dove right in with my idea. Just about turned the boot inside out to do it, but got it done. Removed the black plastic defect foot inside and replace it with a TT foot. Know the photo shows a left foot but I put in the correct right one in. Had to pry it out by grabbing the heel with needle nose pliers and wedging a screwdriver under it. Got to be careful you don't break the sole when you do pry it.

OK, I have a mild case of OCD and even though the left foot wasn't broken I couldn't leave it like it was. Couldn't live with one boot having a TT foot and the other with what I thought was a black plastic boot foot like the right one. Imagine my surprise when I found a clear plastic one instead. Hot Toys must of know they had problems with their Batman Begins boots from the start and switch the material on the one that broke at the factory. Any ways the boot with the TT foot looked wide so I decide to change the left one too. Here's how I did it.

Nice work lion! That's awesome! :rock

Great mod there using the TT foot as a replacement for the broken peg toylion! IMHO, it should be that way to add that realistic touch.

I understand Hot Toys using Bootfeet instead as once you put the True Type Feet in boots, there's no way to get them out. But these bootfeet where defective and I believe HT knew that. Hence the two different color and shape bootfeet inserts. They replaced the ones that broke in assembly, but the ones they didn't replace broken once they were in collectors hands. This is just MHO.

Exacto knife, triangle shape hobby knife. I stuck the point into the hole (tabs) in the suit and turned the blade to make the holes a little bit bigger.

coolbeans. yea I have like 4-5 of those. necessarry for architecture school :wink1: and customizing too :lol just wanted to make sure I understood the method properly before I go to work on it.

I think someone else filed/sanded down the tabs too as their way of making the tabs fit as well, yes?

is the problem that the tabs are too wide for the sockets or the sockets are too narrow for the tabs depending on how you look at it?

The problem is trying to push the tabs in, just to tight a fit as well as the location. You have to remove the head and get your finger behind the suit as you push the tab in. But rather then keep push for 1/2 an hour as I read some have attempted, with no luck, I just decide to widen the holes a little.

Oh really? Now I get it why their figure has always no feet.:lol Thanks for that info man! :1-1:
