OK, I have a mild case of OCD and even though the left foot wasn't broken I couldn't leave it like it was. Couldn't live with one boot having a TT foot and the other with what I thought was a black plastic boot foot like the right one. Imagine my surprise when I found a clear plastic one instead. Hot Toys must of know they had problems with their Batman Begins boots from the start and switch the material on the one that broke at the factory. Any ways the boot with the TT foot looked wide so I decide to change the left one too. Here's how I did it.

I didn't realize this at the time, but I have to really thank you for showing this and describing the process too. This will actually help me take the boot feet out of my spare DX jack sparrow boots I've got coming soon to put on my custom COTBP sparrow that's on a Medi body. I had no idea how I was going to put ball joints on that body and now i dont have to worry about that. I'll just be able to insert the foot naturally. So thanks for sharing this! :hi5:

Not sure what that is. It's not just dust.

It's very fine glitter for lack of a better word. Is that actually from the cape?

Yep, it happens with mine too. The cape is "shedding" a bit and it becomes noticeable on the rubber suit. If you inspect the cape you'll notice in some parts it's starting to miss the shiny velvet finish.

Inevitable though, just got to dust it off the suit every once in awhile and limit handling (I think the interior of the cape took a small bit of the matte finish on the legs. I don't even really handle mine and it never gets dusty and yet it still gets that glittery, velvet stuff on it. It's worth it though, the cape is ten times better than that POS Hot Toys gave us.

Part of me actually thought that glitter was intended to be part of the finish. :lol

Will definitely clean him off now though .:D

Hmm I don't seem to have any of it with the velvet cape.

I'm thinking it's probably because the older suits are less tacky.

Yeah, the OC is definitely less tacky compared to this new one.

Though I sort of noticed a kind of "variation" between both of my exclusive Batman Begins ones. One feels dryer and less tacky, similar to the OC while the other one is, I don't know, more "sticky". They were both brand new and bought around the same time too, not to mention displayed and stored in the same environment.
