I was thinking the same thing. If there's any doubt about a figure like this might as well get it and see it in person, they can always sell it off in the future if their not satisfied. But to judge this off a few bad pics is :cuckoo:.

My biggest concern is still the dust retention. I've watched several unboxings on youtube and reviewed a lot of photos. There is always dust on it. I'd hate to think I'll have to blow air on this figure every day. Even with a detolf, there is no stopping dust. They're obviously not air tight. I think it's disturbing how much dust shows on the figure, and wonder in a months time what it will look like?

It would be hard to sell off a dusty figure if it turns out to be a bust. You can't tell me it will be easy to get all the little dust particles off it either.

Yeah these figures are huge dust magnets. I've got the DX02 and the Demon, both are. Even in a detolf they attract dust like there's no tomorrow.

seal the gaps in your detolf!! no dust on the shelves or figures at all, after months!

annoying if your a constantly wanting to pose figures but i dont so! sometimes i want to repose them but i cant,so every 4 months i remove what i use to seal it,give the detolf a clean, use compressed air to clean the figures, repose them and reseal it!

shelves no longer have a film of dust on them ever!

you guys must be doing something arounf your figures I'm not, b/c my detolf doesn't get dust on the shelfs. it only has dust on the very bottom, which house my Transformers. Those get dusty, but so far after having my detolfs for over a year now, I've yet to have have to dust my 1/6 figures, just my transformers

The point would be to explain that they have approved you already, no? I mean, why take a chance when you could straighten it out now? Obviously if they had you fill out a form and verified your card they are willing to help. Chances are it's just some confusion on their end.
I'd call them and explain. They are extremely friendly and helpful and the bottom line is they want your money. :) :peace
well , havent got the dreaded mail yet myself,i sure dont want to eaise the issue now ,ill see to it when they do send me email

Sorry but you're wrong.

This WAS a limited release just like the Shadow Predator, and the interest led HT to make alot more of them.

In the next few months the amount to be found on eBay will triple as alot of people want to make money out of its value.

If that's the case, and this is no longer limited, please show me where he's still available for preorder (and no, ebay doesn't count). That'll end the counter argument quick enough. :huh

I don't think HT ever intended to keep this as being a low edition release. They probably had the plan in place all along to release a smaller number to Asian audiences via cons and then to open up a larger pre-order via Sideshow to Western audiences.

I guess it is "limited" in the sense that it is only available from official distribution channels, but surely it's been produced in pretty high numbers, as evidenced by the amount of time it took to get sold out (despite being a desirable, "exclusive" figure).

Limited or not, All I care about is some freak here instead of cancelling, making me a reasonable offer... Sideshow couldnt have informed me of their 'policy' at a better time...

Please freaks help me out :wave

They were intent on making it "exclusive." They did. The fact that it's waitlisted now shows it's limited. There will be collectors in the years to come who canceled for some bull____ excuse and will wind up driving up the cost on the secondary market, paying for said cancellation. :lol
