BadMuthaDude, please don't take my suggestions as an attack on your character or anything like that. Just trying to offer some constructive criticism. I personally think a display is greatly improved by natural looking poses. However, I realize that even what's "natural" is subjective, and if you prefer having the arms really straight than go for it.


And if we can't discuss things like action figure arm positions on a toy forum then where can we?

Don't worry about me taking offense to stuff like that. I welcome any criticisms you have on my figures, I'm here for the discussion.

I see your point in this case. While underneath, my Batman's arms are likely as bent as they are on your Superman, but I see that it just doesn't come across as well with that roomy suit. I gave the arms a bit more of a turn and I think it does help the pose a bit.

I do, however, think there's too much of a wrist bend on your Superman's pose. I think it'd look better being a bit more subtle. The more extreme wrist bend looks more natural on less realistic representations of characters. But you know how it is, different strokes and all that.

Here's my updated pose. I just grabbed it by the biceps and did a slight turn. I think this is now the optimal pose for Batman standing there being imposing:

Yeah, I wish we could get more dynamic poses from this guys without deforming or ripping the suit. This is the pose I really loved when I saw the specs and I did have him like this for a while but like I said I didn't want the suit to deform so I changed it..

Oh and I eventually want to buy some DX02 boots for him. Although I fixed the busted boot its really faded now.

Your knee pad look closer to the proto then mine do. That's another thing I didn't like how the final product turned out. I really liked the knee pad on the prototype. They almost look like shiny hard plastic instead of more rubber.

I can't tell by your pic, what's different about your knee pads?

Yours just looks a deeper black with a slight sheen to it. Mine look more faded.

It's probably just the photo. I'm not much a photographer, so I just point and click on auto with flash. They blend in more with the suit in person.
