Hot Toys Bruce Wayne/Batman (2011 Toy Con Ex) review + pics

A few weeks ago I went to move this figure and found that both boots were cracked inside. So the boots cant peg onto the legs anymore. I had one boot replaced by Sideshow when it was originally released and I have no idea what happened here.

Just moved my Bruce Wayne/Batman Begins the other day to make room for my Catwoman and the Left boot falls off. I got it fixed with a TT foot and it stays on and looks OK. It is a little weak though, I think the Batman black foot pegs are just a tiny bit small for the regular TT feet; not enough to come out, but not tight enough to hold a certain position. The rubber boot forces the foot straight again. I added some blue tack and it makes it stiffer, but still can't hold a pose, and forget depending on it to make him stand with out the base.

If anyone's got a broken Left or a broken right boot, I'd try to fix it for them for free (just to have something to do (disabled), but you'll need to send the boot and the TT foot for me to fix it with (left for left, right for right); just PM me and I'll sent you my address. Maybe you can do me a favor in the future.

Hmmm, may have to take you up on that offer. I just went to repose mine and the left boot peg hole is broken just like everyone else's. Still, I only use figure stands so it's not like I can't display him.

They got it right on their 2nd, it just didn't have the distribution it should have had.

Their 3rd would have been fine if it weren't for QC issues.

My B B Batman just stands in a display box all the time, I never touch him re-pose him etc, ' I don't even like to look at him ' (nod to Spinal Tap for that line)

I was going to get this but decided not to. I would get annoyed with the QC and I really like the MMS 67 better. Stilll debating that one or wait and hope for one more Begins with LOS Bruce

I was never going to get this one, because of the crazy price & QC issues but I finally gave in. I had TDK & Rises Bat fig's so I kind of had to get this guy,

I asked the seller on ebay if this fig had any defects, the ankle joint etc. He said it was fine and when I got it there was no problem, so I was lucky but I think the ankle joints are prone to damage so I don't like touching the thing.

I doubt if HT will release another B B Batman fig, they have had enough goes at it already.

Oh and I agree the Begins suit is the best looking imo.

I hadn't touched mine in about a year when I moved it to make room for my Catwoman. If any boot/foot were to have broken I figured it would be the right, but it was the left; just dropped off as I lifted him up. I checked his right boot and it still feels tight so I don't know if it'll be alright or if it's just a matter of time. At least I know how to fix it now.

Yeah, I love the BB suit too. Much more Gothic. The other suits are cool, but too futuristic looking. I don't know any other way to describe it. To become faster and lighter Batman had to look a little less intimidating.

Never say never, but It might not be anytime soon. Most likely not since they did the TF exclusive but who knows. If enough people ask for it.

They'll do one.. eventually.

They wouldn't be HT otherwise.
