Seems like they changed their order statuses. Maybe they got tired of people asking when this figure or that figure would release.

I suspect that would be the case.

When you give a certain estimated month when it's supposed to arrive and it doesn't arrive during that month, I'm sure there's probably some people who get pissed off. HT's quarter system encompasses a range of months, so they probably just opted to use that, which I don't blame them. If HT says Q3, then some time in Q3 is when you'll get it.

You guys with your a$$ pictures really need to log off and watch some Joel Schumacher Batman movies. :D

Only on a toy forum will you see an *** criticized for having too much junk in the trunk or breasts complained about for being too large. :lol

Anyone else's order status say "Order Received" on side show?

YES! Mine says order received! I am hoping and praying and bargaining with the devil that this means a shipping notice is coming or that they are ready to TAKE MY MONEY!! I got a little depressed when I saw the date push email last week. I'm usually an extremely patient person, but I haven't been this excited for a figure since AOU Cap. I'm actually waiting to watch the movie again until he arrives. And it's killing me! I'm also thinking about designing a cool backdrop for him, so if anyone has any cool ideas, feel free to helpo me out. -Adam

I'm kind of bitter about these figures. All kinds of dudes who are like "BvS is ****ing ****, but I'll get a Batfleck and Superman because they look cool," and I'm just like "**** you universe! Why can't you just appreciate me!?!" Ah, well. Early bird gets the worm, I suppose, and I very much doubt my waitlist for the two-pack will convert, if it hasn't by now. For the moment, I'll enjoy the pictures and, when I've got the scratch, I'll buy them on eBay. Hopefully, they get a little cheaper after the Sideshow orders are all fulfilled.

I understand how you feel but the folks around here are not to blame, even the most annoying BVS haters.
The pre-order business model and the fact that they keep some of your money if you cancel after seeing the actual effin product are the real problem.
Imagine that, wanting to see the actual product before buying...

That being said you should have pre-ordered the second these became available, you are Batfan, what were you thinking? :slap
Just kidding...

No one is to blame but myself, but I guess what it comes down to is expectations. People were bitching about this thing and saying how it would suck months before it was released, so, I figured I had time to get my order in. I'll add that I was late to the party, but not super late. I got on the waitlist back in May, I think, which was at the height of all the anti-BvS sentiments. I don't know. People can buy whatever the hell they like, but I can't, for the life of me, understand how some people can spend so much money on a representation of something they hate, no matter how cool it looks. I wish I could separate the figure from the film or whatever, but, if I'm looking at, I don't know, a Will Smith Deadshot, for instance, cool as the figure might be, it'll bring me right back to Suicide Squad and I'll just be pissed off that I wasted that money on something that reminds me of...well, ****.:lol

I'm with you on the pre-order model, too, and that's part of the reason I didn't order right away, but what the hell? Woulda, coulda, shoulda; didn't.:lol

Pre-ordering this was a blind decision to me. I wasn't concerned about the film quality or Affleck's performance that was yet to be seen then -- I knew Affleck would use the hate as a fuel and he's matured as an actor that he wouldn't let himself become the joke that people thought he'd be, and I own/used to own figures from mediocre films but had cool characters/designs anyway like Predator 2.

I was more concerned about Hot Toys caring enough to improve the product, as the first prototype must have had the same reaction as Affleck's casting announcement. I can't do "I'll wait til the final product is out before I decide" given that Pre-Orders in our country have only a 3-week to a month deadline or while slots are available. I thought it's either I resell it at a loss if it turns out bad, or spend more to get one if it becomes sought-after (which rarely happens now). I'm glad I lucked out with my mental coin toss this time.

I just said to myself that I love Batman and Superman too much to pass it up. Pre ordered the two pack the first week of February. When did they wait list anyway, was it after the movies release?

I wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but I bought Superman anyway because the figure is such a great representation. After the final product pics of Batman popped up, I decided I wanted him because it's the closest to comic accurate we will probably ever get. I got on the waitlist a week or two ago for the exclusive. First time I've ever gotten on the waitlist for something, actually.

Hi all, I received the figure yesterday and immediately noticed something. Would be cool if the collectors who have it could confirm for me? I noticed that the back of the head has quite a bit of texture, however, the texture seems to abruptly become much smoother at the top of the head. Is that normal? And also, the face plates seem darker and shinier than Superman's headsculpt? Thanks in advance.

It's funny, I never had a strong interest in this because I was so put off by the movie. But the Romero Joker release actually got me thinking more about all the different Batmen I already have--West, Begins Bale, and Dark Knight Bale--and thinking I should try to add a Keaton and Batfleck to the mix. I'm still on the fence about the whole idea, but am considering getting an Affleck for that reason alone. And, of course, the design does look great. I just have to make doubly sure that I set up my display in such a way that I'm never reminded of this terrible, terrible, terrible film when I look at it. Otherwise, away he would go. :lol
