"Terrible, terrible movie"? I must be easy to please or you must be hard to please because I enjoyed BvS which made the figures an easier purchase for me.

Both (Supes and Bats) were a day one PO for me. I like Superman, I like Batman. I liked what I saw in trailers up to that point. I'll probably like the film. PO.

Liked the film, loved the UE. Glad I PO'd.

I really enjoyed the UE of the movie but I'd have bought this figure even had I hated the movie. Visually it's easily my favourite Batman so far, so pre-ordering was a no brainer. I like the Nolan trilogy better as movies but it's also my least favourite batsuit. Batfleck and Keaten look much better as figures IMO.

Affleck and Cavil are perfect for these iconic roles. I love their costumes and performances, any issues are down to the writing, directing and editing of the movie. I'm less of a fan of Suicide Squad but still can't wait to get the Harley Quinn figure in my collection.

I'll pre-order all the Justice League characters, apart from maybe Batman if I don't like his darker suit, whether it scores 27% or 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Realistically its likely to be closer the former given the way this universe is being received by critics thus far.

A terrible movie is Spider-Man 3.

A decent movie is BvS.

There's a difference.

Spiderman 3 was terrible, so was Batman and Robin, The Punisher with Travolta, X3, any Matrix after the first one even Suicide Squad.... I don't categorize BvS with these movies. It wasn't a first rate comic movie and had some issues but was enjoyable. I don't know what people were expecting, it's Zach Snyder and we all saw Man of Steel.

I'm not sure if I could pick a loser in that battle. Spidey 3 had a good first half, at least. BVS had some good stand alone Batman scenes. But both are movies I never really want to see again.

Personally I was expecting it to be bad for that reason. I just wasn't surprised.

BvS wasn't good. It was a decent movie but the hype train for this was so high it was going to disappoint no matter what. The Honest Trailer on it really is a nice summation of what went wrong with it BUT Batfleck by far was the best thing about it and the designs for all three were great. Ultimately I'm not looking for the figure to do Shakespeare in the Park, just to look like a badass Batman on the shelf and this will do just that.

I personally did a complete 180° turn on both the movie and getting the figures after seeing the Ultimate Edition. After catching the theatrical cut on its opening weekend and feeling ambivalent overall about the film, I buoyed my disappointment by at least knowing I wouldn't be shelling out for its accompanying Hot Toys merchandise. After all, why would one drop hundreds of dollars on figures for a movie you didn't really care much for?

Smash cut to seeing this promised 3-hour, R-rated version months later and I'm now appreciating all its subtleties and thematic complexities that, granted, may not be the kind of thing most folks were expecting from a blockbuster summer release. But I've expressed my change-of-heart with my wallet by picking up the Hot Toys BvS Superman (which is an excellent piece in and of itself!) and anxiously awaiting the release of Hot Toys' Black Chrome Armored Batman and WW figures to join him.

I enjoyed the theatrical cut, but it really does pale in comparison to the UE. The UE to me is the movie/BvS.

Batman saved this movie. If it wasn't for him, this would've easily gotten a 4% on RT.

While he killed and wasn't very Batman like, I enjoyed the scenes with him in it. But even then, I couldn't sit trough the UC, which didn't help change my opinion on this TBH.

This is why I'm not getting Superman, he sucked. Affleck did a decent enough job.

Nowhere near a Keaton/Bale level, but we'll see how that changes in the future.

atleast i can find things that were enjoyable in spiderman 3. black suit spiderman was awesome (also was able to finally track down the hot toys recently), peter vs harry fight towards the end was pretty legit (the line where he asks harry if hes going to cry gets me everytime), the bar scene where he throws the bouncer and ***** slaps mj, everything jameson, norman osborn was great to see again, the ending where harry dies i also thought was pretty decent.
for me, bvs has a decent batman vs superman fight and a phenomenal batman fight scene. thats pretty much it. wonder woman is alright but because it was so shoehorned in, i didnt even really care. hopefully her solo film will be good.

BvS is the first movie where I remember thinking "damn is this almost over?" It has good segments but overall it was a disappointment. I actually liked Affleck more as Bruce with Alfred than I did as Batman...they had a great dynamic.

Personally i dont think Keaton/89 movie has no depth in the movie like we have today.. But it was so iconic as it was the first time a comic book character was depicted in this dark serious way..

If we have the 89 batman movie showing in the cinema for the first time today..it will be a laughing stock...
