Looking at the Tony Mei photos there show off how great a figure he truly is, however there is one thing bothers me with the BvS suit, and that's the cape –*why did they not give him the traditional scalloped cape, instead of one that looks ripped?!

Just got an email from Jacob at BBTS. He said he has no idea when they are getting more stock, and to just wait for email confirmation on being charged. Sounds like we keep waiting!:slap

Thanks for that... I'm awaiting my email confirmation as well!
Sounds like I should have stayed on the SS WaitList though. By the sounds of the recent conversions (I got on it on Sept.7), mine might have converted by now.
Oh well, at least I'll be getting one through someone! And hopefully BBTS shipping doesn't create a gigantic duty coming across the border, like everytime I buy from SS directly....

Great pics everyone!!! Keep them coming! So many good looks and poses!

Got this in the mail Tuesday and have only had a chance to play around with him for a little bit....so glad I went with this batman.

Loved the movie, loved Ben Affleck and I LOVE this portrayal of the bat. I have to say this figure does so much justice! I love every detail about this figure and I can't wait to get to pose him some more!

Love the pics guys. My only gripe with this figure is the head articulation. It kinda bugs me that in order to turn his head, the whole cowl/cape turns as well leaving gaps in certain areas. I might be in the minority here, but I think HT could've pulled off the magnetic head thingy they did with the Bale figure and make it barely noticeable.

Now I just gotta wait for mine to show up some day. Still waiting for a response from AP Collectibles as to why the hell did they charge my CC so damn early(going against their own pre order policy).

It fits in with the battle-damaged nature of the suit overall. I really dig the whole battered look.

A "figure of the year" candidate shouldn't need any mods to look its best. At some point after so many mods it almost becomes a custom figure. This is a nice looking figure no doubt, fantastic even, but straight out of the box it needs some work to look its best. I won't count the crotch re-positioning a mod even though most outside this forum will leave that area as is. Stuffing the figure and new capes though...that's pushing custom.

Out of the box it's figure of the year FOR ME but it's all subjective- I love this version of Bats so it's an easy choice...

I would not assume that just because some collectors are choosing to make modifications that enhance their personal enjoyment of the figure that the figure "needs" these modifications. I have around sixty Hot Toys figures, this is currently my favorite and I would not dream of touching a thing on this figure...took him out of the box, placed him on his stand, and voila...immediate figure of the year for me!

Fair enough, you didn't do the crotch re-positioning though?

Don't be so negative.

Agree with this.

A lot of it is subjective. Just because people do mods to a figure doesn't mean the figure needs or requires those mods. In fact, I've seen some cases where people try and be too detailed with it that they actually end up making something seemingly the wrong color or give it too much weathering, etc. I personally think this Batman figure is fine out of the box.

The only mod I'm planning to do is the crotch futz. Cape looks fine to me, if its riding up too much I'll use that trick someone here mentioned of tucking it under the base to get the cowl to lay flat.

All I did was futz with the crotch area on mine. Not sure if I would consider something simple as that a "mod" though, as nothing stock on the figure was compromised in order to alter it.

I like the stock figure, but I like doing mods, I don't mind, it's just a hobby of mine, you guys do what you want, it's your figure. I just did a couple of minor mods, nothing drastic, and I don't mind the cape either.

IMO the cowl collar design bothers me more than the cape and it needs to be reinvented, it's too thick and sticks out too much when you twist his head, I have a feeling HT will work on this by the time the JLA film releases . I think HT has really incorporated this figure as a good start to the Batfleck franchise. A couple of tweaks here and there in the articulation and cowl design and I think eventually they can come up with a near perfect Batfleck figure.

But this version is far from that, but a great start and good base to work with :lecture

I want this "Vs" movie... image.jpeg
