Nice! :clap Might have to steal this pose. lol

It is very hard to capture how huge the upper chest is. For anyone wanting to adjust their pose - I found that using the ab crunch to stick his stomach out helps capture the stance that Affleck had - push the shoulders up as high as they will go and twist the arms inwards at the bicep. The most unique aspect I have found is the cowl - it is rubber and flexible meaning you can move his head without moving the whole cowl and therefore avoiding covering the top of the symbol. If you hold the cowl in place and then put his head forward without letting the whole cowl move, you can get some neck crunch.

Thanks for the tip on holding the cowl down while moving his head, I'll try that when I have mine back on display. Is pushing the shoulders up as easy as you make it sound? I really suck at posing my figures, you have yours looking so natural there. I see you did the crotch futzing to, looks awesome even without any of his gadgets.

go for it, i stole it from another boardie. :lol
I might steal it to :lol Looks so menacing there. This figure is insanely good.

I just got word from moviefigures that my black chrome Batman is in stock and coming on Tuesday even though it wasn't due before December. Those mid to late December UK estimates seem to be coming forward on all versions of Batman just as FP.com did with the regular earlier this week. Good chance we all get our Batmans before Christmas now.

When the heck it' arriving in Malaysia. I am still waiting.. Damn.. Jealous of you all who had received it..

UK people who ordered through forbiddenplanet.co.uk, despite getting the "mid December" delay email earlier in the week I got an email about an hour or so ago saying mine had been dispatched!

Looking forward to this... think this weekend I will have to get my Detolf built for the occasion!

Can't be long now for you now. I know how frustrating the wait is, but worth it in the end.

Yep the wait is frustrating, times when I've been tempted to pay the extra and just order from HK but managed to resist. Now we face the same agonising wait for Wonder Woman, then some other figure, then another...The cycle never stops :lol

I can now understand peoples point of not being able to choose a pose, I had him posed with the sniper rifle for quite some time, but after switching him up it was so hard to decide. One of those figures where you catch yourself just staring at it, even after having it for almost a month. still a toss-up between knightmare and this guy, and I'd choose knightmare but this guy is just sooo good.

C'mon mate...tell us all what else you did to get him looking so well posed/futzed. You can't just post those and leave us hanging. :lol

Mine arrived tomorrow/Monday and I'd love to know what you did to the cape. Is getting it to lay flat just a matter of pushing his shoulders up? Want to avoid cutting it if I can.

Hehe :)

It's a combo of pushing the shoulders up and pulling the cape down and then smoothing it by stroking the edges :wink1:

I found that the stand helps to prevent the cape from hitting the floor as it has about a centimetre drop.

I did think about tucking the edges of the cape underneath the stand at the back to help pull it taught - you could try that.

pretty sure on mine no amount of stuffing the chest would help reveal top of bat symbol. the tip of cowl is longer than wht i see on others and is not bent up in any way its tight down on chest. i can fold tip it up under itself and thats the closest i can get to shortening it w/o cutting it.

I placed one cotton ball in the upper chest and it definitely helped with the tip of the cowl/bat symbol issue. But it sounds like the bottom of your cowl sounds a bit longer they way you described it..

that looks great! but yeah see how yours is angles up abit and ends at cape line? i see many like that so when the chest is beefed it does the trick but on a few i see mine included the tip is flat and appears longer and lower than cape line by quite abit.. so dont think any puffing up of chest would help at all. tho the upside is i tilt head all the way back fold it up under-itself then push head back down forcing the now folded cowl tip into chest and it stays. looks good but i def think there is diff between some in terms of that cowl tip, mayeb two diff batches?

when i get a hold of a camera will show some pics of it w/o the tip fold and with.

yeah i futzed the hell outta mine a few days ago and couldn't solve the issue, i really don't feel like stuffing his body but it may be a step i take.

if you're doing that, you may as well cut it. i don't know how long the rubber will last being stretched a different way.

try the fold im doin, works very well and in lookin at screen-shots matches the movie.

its more of a curve to it than a hard fold so think it may be fine but if it shows signs of goin bad will clip it off.
