I am going to treat the body with Honda silicone grease and ill let you guys know how it works out. I was going to put it into storage, but I think ill just sell my old body.

Thats very interesting. So, you had it in its box with the little dividers under the arms and it still fused? Was anything stopping the suit from contacting itself?

One possible solution was to use Honda Silicone grease and let it act as an invisible barrier to the suit contacting itself. If the suit doesnt directly contact itself then it wont fuse/peel.

No, I stupidly chucked those pieces even though I normally keep them. So the suit was touching itself, but you know, it was in its sealed packaging in a wardrobe away from light and heat and it happened, so if that's boiling down to the suit just touching itself and fusing maybe that's the only thing...

It's not massive but I'm tired of them all having little tiny problems because they piss me off subconsciously to no end. But I won't but any protector ontop of it, wouldn't feel comfortable knowing there's another agent that could be damaging it.

But if you're happy to do it it would be interesting to see the results down the line

I might be stating the obvious, but the fact the at the figure is packaged with foam dividers under the arms indicates that Hot Toys was aware of the issue from the start or they wouldn't have shipped them out like that in the first place.

Nah, most figures, if not all, ship with them. Iron Man ones tend to have them where articulation occurs also. Would be nice if they mention something in the instruction, though!

To be honest I think it's because I kept it in the box without the pads. Unless other people with the damage can say they got it without having it in the box since they removed it that must be the only thing for me... Because it was in a cool place, I used gloves handling it and didn't over articulate, didn't apply any mods to it, so it has to be a combination of box and suit.

If people could keep an eye out on theirs to see if it happens outside of the box it would be great. i'll be permanently annoyed to know that this could have been due to my own fault. from now on any piece that comes with the foam and has a rubber suit, if it goes back in the box it will have them in it for me.

Was lucky I found a BVS bats on gumtree at retail price, extremely happy!!

So I took your advice (lol) and pm'ed Tony but he said the project is closed/sold out. However he might have some leftovers once he sends everything out.

I'm not happy with lforigno's rayon TDK cape so I want to get capes for both TDK and BVS batmans. Can't really decide on unreal or jax normal capes, the prices are similar.
