Another thing I find a little odd, is it seems like usually when a figure is set to come out soon, sideshow will change the date on their website. Superman is still showing June-July instead of just June.

The dates are always just an estimate. It's down to hot toys when they'll release the figures.
Hot toys have released figures sevral months earlier than the date, and they have also released figures over a year past it.
It's just a safe assumption it'll be done closer to estimated date.

I do think it will be some time in June for SSC predicated on the fact that it was released by HT the first week of May (a month ago) in HK. When in June is just more of the question.

Did anybody see the article where one of the cinematographers for BvS stated that he doesn't think the directors cut will change people's opinions of the film?

Was he referring to the opinions of people who did or didn't like the theatrical cut? If the latter, I would be inclined to probably agree.

He said those of us who like the theatrical cut would dig it and people who hated it will still hate it. I'm really excited to see it, myself. Loved the theatrical cut so the extra footage is more than welcome! The biggest thing I hope it will clear up is the whole...blaming superman for the incident in the beginning of the movie. Out of everything that happened in the movie, that's the one thing that didn't quite make sense to me.

That's a shame. I was hoping that, at the very least, the new cut would fix some of the problems.

it will . just wait. I don't think there will be 30 min of non sense dialogues . there will be some story developing in it. I wish some action too. give me more Supes on screen.

P.S. I have a sense some people lied about email configuration. :D :D :D :D its almost July 9, and I have nothing. NOTHING. :gah:

The tone, themes, look everything Will be the same.
Story Will be fleshed out more, less rushed probably but yeah even if its a better movie if you did not liked the movie in the theatre i dont see how spending more time in the same universe Will make one change his mind.
From What i gathered from the trailer, its gonna be oretty cool for those who liked it.

:exactly:

The only thing that I believe the R-rated extended version will change is helping make the film not feel like it's too crammed, as some have stated. The story will be fleshed out a bit more and there will probably be added details that explain other scenes, motives, etc. If you thought it was a good movie but perhaps a little too crammed, then the extended version may fix that for you.

However, Superman will not change. Batman will not change. The tone will not change. If any of those bothered anyone, the extended version won't "fix" that.

There's always exceptions of course, but I would be more inclined to say that those who are going to like the film as an aggregate whole, theatrical or extended, already do like it, and those who dislike it won't suddenly be swayed to just do a complete 180 and now love it. Sure you may have one that you prefer and feel is at least a little better than the other, but I don't think it'll be enough to just drastically change one's mind.

Alright, so for those folks who did say they got emails a while back, let's see some screen shots of that email. Lol. No way SS is shooting a notification out this late. I still think it'll be June, but the 9th-10th is bogus at this point.

That's what makes me a bit leery.

In my experience, they've given at least a week's notice of the impending arrival of a figure, asking that you have the funds available the day they begin charging.

Exactly. I've honestly always been thinking closer to the end of the month if not beginning of July. Earlier is always better, but at this point hey who cares. Even though we'll still be complaining a few weeks from now. Lol.

The trailer alone shows that there is much more footage from the Nairomi incident added to the extended cut.

Yeah, so I'm really hoping it clears all that up lol That part of the movie just made no sense to me as it was.

I also finally decided to pull the trigger on superman, so I'm pretty excited for the release! I'll probably just get him and batman...all I can afford!

Proof of email? Seriously? Ok.
