I must have lucked out concerning the sleeves on mine. They completely cover the wrist joint even if I bend the elbow.

That looks fine to me. If I recall, even the figure that was used for a lot of promo shots when it was first released in HK had the wrist joints exposed slightly.
They look so good together, can't wait to get my hands on the bat.

do you have a direct link to sideshowtoys listing for Superman? I had talked myself into buying him with a coupon two nights ago only to find him unsearchable at their site. I assumed he was now sold out but waitlist is pretty close. Almost seems like the last vestiges of people who really were dying to get him waited until they saw the final finished Batman and probably decided to buy both at once.
I have a weird question (and I think I know the answer) to ask of someone who has both the MOS and this version of Superman. I was wondering if the BvS base will work with the MOS figure and the stand piece that makes him look like he can fly. Thanks!
The joints at the thighs on one of my BvS Supes figures are like this also, the left leg in particular. When moving it outward, it sort of stops at a certain point and you have to force it to seemingly unwedge the joint and sort of free it. It feels like it's going to break off when trying to do so, but it'll move.
I won't directly say to put some more force into it because I don't want to you to break your figure, but I will say it does take a bit of force to get the left leg to move outward on one of mine.
Yeah, you're never going to get a perfect figure, there's always going to be something. I consider both of mine near perfect, so that's good enough for me. If you try and get a replacement, there's no guarantees that the replacement won't suffer from the same problem, or potentially have something that bothers you even more than the first one did.
Obviously broken joints, discernible scratches, unsightly errant paint stains or fabric tears I can understand. But a slightly loose or too tight joint, a small glue spot in the back that nobody will see, a very small imperfection in the paint? If everything else on the figure is otherwise ship shape and good, sometimes you just have to weigh the pros and cons.
