Ah, I see we're back to this again. :lol

Lol, same **** different day. Someone makes a stupid comment based on an old pic & people panic-everything is doom & gloom. Seriously, if hot toys was planing to use the same head they wouldn't have ever shown the other one, nor included it on the order page. They reused the same unmasked cap head on 4 figures, the only difference is they show that it's the same one, they don't show a different one then change it back.

:exactly:

There's no drama. It will be the new head!

... But just because of the backlash. Otherwise, they would have gone with the MOS head. Showing the MOS head at conventions and even on the shipping soon picture proves they had that intent. Fortunately, we and other fans worldwide were vocal!

It was always going to be a new head, as confirmed by the 'all new head sculpt' that has been attached since the very start.

They were never going to use the MOS sculpt, jeez. Otherwise they wouldn't have revealed the new movie accurate sculpt in the PO photos. The AoU Thor was shown with an older sculpt on the new body quite a few times too.

Like Skywalker(OG)Kush stated, if HT was never planning from the start to use a brand new sculpt, they wouldn't have ever shown the figure with a new sculpt to begin with, nor would they have specifically state in the specs that the figure is to include a brand new, newly developed sculpt.

Captain America figures have recycled the same un-helmeted sculpt four times now, two of them just simply repainted. The difference is that HT shows right from the start and states in the specs that it's going to be the same sculpt, just repainted; they don't tease a brand new sculpt, only to suddenly go back to the one they've been using.

this body must be much bigger than MOS for it to make the original MOS head looks smaller. I had hoped that the new hs would be smaller and thought that it was based on some of the pictures but it seems its the bigger body casting that illusion.

Makes sense, because I think Cavill was a little bigger in BvS than he was in MoS (already thought he was a beast there though). I like how both figures seem to accurately capture his body shape in both respective films.

Lol. I come back from a week of holiday and the ol' "headsculpt is being recycled" is still the topic? Time to move on and find something else to panic over.

Yeah, when did that rumor ever surface? Wasn't it established early on that it would be an entirely new sculpt and that the ones at conventions were just placeholders, like they did with some Cap Winter Soldier displays 1 or 2 years ago? :lol People freak out too easily. :lol

It really started a few weeks ago when pictures occasionally surfaced up until that point of the figure on display at various shows with the MoS sculpt, and then culminated when HT posted this photo on their FB page:

Since these upcoming releases photos generally illustrate final products/production figures, everyone was worried that this was really going to be the final BvS Supes figure with a recycled MoS sculpt. Admittedly I was concerned, but I really had a difficult time believing HT would actually do that at literally the last second after advertising the figure the whole time as having a new sculpt.

A day later after the backlash, J.C. Hong himself stated on FB that his newly developed sculpt did indeed get approved and confirmed that BvS Supes will feature a newly developed sculpt (presumably the same one shown at Toy Soul in December and occasionally at the HT Secret Base), like the specs for the figure specifically state and have stated since day one.

Apparently, despite the figure initially showing a new sculpt and J.C. Hong confirming that his sculpt was approved and the figure will indeed feature a new sculpt and the fact that specs for the figure have always said from the beginning that it will feature a new sculpt that is accurate to his look in BvS, people are still dubious and worried. Almost a "pics, or it's not true" type thing.

Oh wow, where do they post these? It's been so long, I was waiting for the upcoming releases photo. I never see them anymore on their facebook for some reason. Either that, or I'm just looking at the wrong time. :lol

The Flametroopers come with faux flames now? Awesome!

quick question
when order's GRAND TOTAL is 195$, (and I already payed 21$ of deposit) does this means that my card will be charged only for 195$? because there is not shipping cost calculated yet.
