This figure makes me feel like I did back in 2013 when the Man Of Steel figure was released, looks awesome and I want it badly but I knew they'd release a better figure down the road.

It's so damn tempting because I own the lot of BvS figures and she does look incredible but damn, I know they can and will make an improved figure for Justifice League... her face is just slightly off and I don't like the doll hair but I know Hot Toys won't sculpt her hair for JL either.
Really annoys me that the training version of WW has a better likeness than this one.

Agree to some extent but the problem with putting off buying because the next version will be better when do you actually pull the trigger? The JL version will be better the solo movie version, the WW2 version will be better than that, JL2 better than that one and so on until Gadot makes her last appearance as WW. I have the BvS Superman but pretty sure the JL figure will be an improvement.

I'd prefer sculpted hair to, that's while i'll be pushing as much of it behind her shoulders as possible.

In this case the next movie with WW comes out in just 4 months and SDCC is less than 3 weeks so we may see the next HT version soon.

It looks really good though. Perfect, no, but a major improvement on the sculpt from what we saw with the prototype. It looks really good in the blogger pictures, so I can only imagine it'll probably look even better in hand.

Can't wait to finally have this and complete my BvS display.

Yep, could very well see it on display at SDCC. Given that the training armour version won't be available until Q2 2018 I doubt we'd see another regular version actually release before the end of 2018. Wouldn't be surprised if they showed this sculpt with maybe some JL accessories when they presumably have her displayed with the rest of the JL.

Looks good, but there is no way those armpits/shoulders will hold if you plan on rotating the arms for different poses.

but the training version is just a prototype right now. nobody here knows if the final face sculpt will exactly look like that
and the release is in like one year.

If I constantly waited for a better figure, I wouldn't have 19, lol... I own the BvS Supes and I know the next one will be an improvement but really it wouldn't make me regret the BvS version because I'm still happy with it now, where as with WW I wouldn't be.

It's just seeing a prototype with a better headsculpt that's doing it, haha... I'm really picky about female figures, I only own Babydoll, have Harley and Jyn on preorder.

Fair enough. Can always switch the sculpt later on from the next version or a good knockoff. Harley will be my first female figure then WW.

After seeing that Chinese review with subtitles it seems she'll be great for action poses as far as taking pictures goes but straight up museum poses the only way to pose her long term and not have the body crack.

You guys have more faith than me! haha I don't trust Hot Toys to make a solo-film version of her in full regalia. Not after how long it took just to get the BvS figure.

well, if they make a ww solo movie version with the cloak, the release date will be december 2018 / spring 2019
+ the normal delays = summer 2019 :lol

All of the BVS figures have been on the large side. This fits right in with that.

Really the only thing that bothers me at this point considering i have both her and Harley on order are the knees that are going to waste here.

She stole Harley's knees.

Now that's a sculpt of a pretty face. Not Gal Gadot enough for me though.

As for WW solo film figure, I'm guessing an Exclusive release (perhaps for an event like Toy Fair or whatever where we usyally see new Iron Man variants): light-colored armor, robe, new shield and sword, new stand, and new sculpt.

Then a JL release using the same sculpt as the EX solo film version but with JL stand and new accessories. Mix-and-match and repackaging game for HT :lol

Are we wanting screen accuracy or stylized figures?
HT regular uses bodies that don't exactly get the actors proportions right(height, pinheads, flat chested STRIKE Cap, etc) sometimes it works in favor of the overall aesthetic of the figure as it does in this case. I wouldn't call it "stylized", well maybe if she had an abnormally small torso or long legs with long arms or something ala ashley wood
