Now that's a sculpt of a pretty face. Not Gal Gadot enough for me though.

As for WW solo film figure, I'm guessing an Exclusive release (perhaps for an event like Toy Fair or whatever where we usyally see new Iron Man variants): light-colored armor, robe, new shield and sword, new stand, and new sculpt.

Then a JL release using the same sculpt as the EX solo film version but with JL stand and new accessories. Mix-and-match and repackaging game for HT :lol

That sounds like the game plan

I do seem to notice the teeth more because they seem to be deliberately avoiding it in so many pictures.

It's generally best to avoid teeth.

they made the teeth way too obvious on the final product.
look how subtle it looks on the prototype on the left picture and then the final version on the right.
it looks cheap.

Personally I prefer the final version. Skin tone looks much better, sculpt more accurate. The teeth really don't bother me.

I really hope this is what happens.

After seeing that Chinese review with subtitles it seems she'll be great for action poses as far as taking pictures goes but straight up museum poses the only way to pose her long term and not have the body crack.

Link to that review mate?

This reminds me of Hot Toys Indiana Jones where you want to believe it looks like the actor and the more you look at pics you start telling yourself it does but in reality it just looks like a stunt double.

Haha that is true. I believe she's on par sculpt-wise with my Indy figure...however that is still a really awesome figure as is this one.

The body looks extremely rigid. Seems you can't do much with it if you don't want that stuff broken.

What is the reasoning behind snatching up these figures for $160 above pre-order prices? Just to get it a month or so in advance? Reviewing it for YouTube not withstanding.

It's something I never quite understood. I have Harley, Wonder Woman, Dr. Strange, Daredevil, Vampirella, Legolas and an unlicensed figure all set to ship in the coming weeks/months. I'll be damned if I'm paying anything more than I have to, lol.

Anyway, I think she looks pretty damn good. Not perfect, but at least I can say I'm not regretting my purchase. Hot Toys females are tricky, apparently.

I came close to pre-ordering this figure today, but decided against it after seeing the final product. I even had the $50 off coupon, but just couldn't pull the trigger. Am I the only one who feels like rooted hair just doesn't work? I mean, you really have to know what you're doing just to get it to look halfway decent, and even then a lot of times it just looks off. No idea ho sculpted hair would look either, though. I'm sure it would limit posing, but if it looked better, and more accurate I could live with it.

Much like with Rey, the teeth aren't going to be an issue in-hand. We're seeing macro shots of her face, so of course it'd be more noticeable.

All you have to do with rooted hair is don't touch it. Fluff it gently from the bottom to get it out of the "hat hair" look it comes out of the box with, and maybe wet your finger in order to smooth down some stray hairs. But aside from that? Don't touch it. Don't run your fingers through it. Especially the figures with curly hair. Once you "break" a curl it's nearly impossible to get it to go back the way it was.

My order for this figure has displayed the following message on Sideshow for around a month now: "Your order is temporarily locked while we process your payment. Please try again later."

It also says that I have a remaining balance of 229.99, even though I already paid the full amount.

Does anyone know what the above message could mean?

:exactly: I bet in hand the teeth won't even be noticeable unless you get right up close to the sculpt. I can barely make out the Tux Joker's metal teeth from more than a few feet away.
