Anybody figure out what other body I can use with the head sculpt and costume ?

My Trinity. Like said before the HS could be better but I am satisfied with it for now until JL WW is released.

I don't mind too much, I don't think the likeness is that far off for it to be a problem for me. I don't think it's the sculpt as much as it's the painting. But until the JL WW drops in over a years time, it's what we have - I don't think we'll be getting a WW solo film version, unfortunately, at least not until this has fully shipped out.

That pic man....hahahahahahahaha

Yeah I was impressed too bad it's a statue though :gah:

Same here. I love it/the likeness is spot on et. But at $2000, I just can't. I don't collect statues but a friend of mine does so I can comment: If it's ur thing, they are amazing. For whatever reason the likeness of a statue is almost always 100%, they are less likely to break if displayed properly and a statue collection truly looks spectacular.

That Prime 1 is $3600

Umm... that particular statue wasn't $2,000 USD...... It was $3,599 USD.

Though it was a higher then I thought it was going to be after the Wonderfest images were released; supposedly most exploded with viciousness after the price was revealed.

OMG I can understand why!!!! Ha and LOL LOL LOL. I respect the statue collectors of this world. Statues look great; they have endurance. But that is WAAAAAYYYYY too much money.

Several members here, myself included, think that the WW JL portrait is a lot better than the portrait on this figure.

I've said it here and in the other 1/6 WW threads; I'll be picking up a parted out WW JL sculpt at some point.

Assuming that the production JL sculpt is as good as the prototype, that sounds like a good plan. Hopefully there will be no extreme skin tone variations between the DoJ and JL versions. With this figure's exposed neck & shoulders, it will be quite obvious if there's a mismatch.

That would be my biggest worry, mismatched skin tones. I have no doubt the JL version will be an improvement, just hope it matches.

That is a concern that the skin tone won't match but I think HT will be consistent in that area. At least I hope they will. :lol

Nah, Durso is cool with his opinion and I understand where he's coming from.

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for keeping me sane throughout the long wait to get this figure. I had a great time reading through the seven hundred something pages before my figure was delivered and before I had a chance to take photos.

This Wonder Woman figure is my first Hot Toys and I'm excited for more variations.

I hope to take more photos soon.

PS: I see that some of you are in SoCal. I'm in Los Angeles, so I know how hot it's been lately, and the wildfire didn't help either.

Awesome pics friend! Very atmospheric.

You know people say this sculpt isn't dead on, and it isn't, but I feel like it represents *Wonder Woman* better than gal gadot, if ya follow me. And in a way I'm more a fan of that. I liked the JL sculpt when I first saw it too, but I like that this is a more neutral expression as well and can convey more things based on the angle / lighting etc as feline shows here.

With this angle and lighting it gives off a wise protector or almost motherly feel. It's not just a badass warrior all the time. Again great pics feline and congrats on your first hot toys purchase!

Looking forward to more pics =D

Cool idea of putting the strap on the other side of the shoulder.. i think i might do the same....

Hi All,

While we always says that BvS and WW movies both had the strap on different sides..
I'm being paranoid, I was re-watching WW movie and I realised that within the same movie, most of the part it's on her right shoulder (Seems more legit since she is portrayed right handed... some scenes actually is on the left shoulder same as in BVS......

This photo I am guessing the strap is on the left shoulder, but the sword is on the right....

I guess they changed their mind mid shooting....

Mine arrived today and I'm pretty happy with her. I was worried but it's definitely one of those much better in-hand cases!!

Congratulations on your first Hot Toys figure! And I must say: Wow! Great pics with a fantastic pose! She seems very life-like to me there. I look forward to more photos from you. My Wonder Woman is part of the later batch Sideshow is expecting at the end of September. So this thread is keeping it real for me too. Thank you for sharing!
