1/6 Hot Toys BvS: Dawn of Justice-Wonder Woman

It indeed looks like the prototype we've seen before.
I'm waiting to see in hand photos before deciding whether to buy her or not.
The prototype doe not quite capture her likeness IMO, if they change it I'll buy, if not I'll wait for a future version.

It looks like the same sculpt to me. Which is fine, considering I thought overall it was pretty good to begin with.

Looks like the same sculpt to me as well. While I do wish taht Hot Toys had given the sculpt a more aggressive expression, I still like what I see.

Kinda disappointed with the delay email but my wallet isn't!

Likeness is there, just wish they went with a different expression that conveys a bit more of the ferocity of WW during battle. I think in doing so, it'd make the likeness even better.

Replace body wth wallet.

I'm more bothered by the fact that her head is a different shade than the rest of her body.

If that's the final sculpt I'm definitely waiting for the solo movie version and hopefully a whole new portrait. Looks nothing like Gal.

Just thickening the eyebrows and darkening the eyeliner and eyeshadow would improve the likeness considerably I think, and give it that bolder and more dramatic look she had. Because right now it looks like she's barely wearing any makeup at all.

The underlying sculpt still works really well though, and I think could look pretty close to this with just a better paintjob:

The only thing that doesn't work for me in this sculpt is the mouth. I don't know why HT in their recent female sculpt adopted this semi-opened mouth expression, it doesn't look good here, and to me also in the Rey and Ellen Ripley figure.

Yeah, I noticed that too...I still can't decide whether I should order her or not

Her expression looks more determined to me in these pics. Maybe I'm seeing things though--I'll need to see other angles.

IMO the likeness is there but the suggestions you make would bring it out much more.

Yep. Overall likeness is there I think, it's just a few finer details that are lacking.

Agreed. They're trying to make her look like she's waiting for a kiss or something.

If this is true maybe they are listening to people not being happy with the sculpt also with Han not coming out til Feb it will give me time to save.

I hope they taking their time to improve the head sculpt....
