Finally saw the movie and thought it was fantastic.... although I guess I have to be one of those weird people to say he still loves MOS just a bit more. Not sure if it's just because I'm a bigger Superman fan, but the whole style and tone of that movie, combined with the way it reinvented the character's origin story and relationships and humanized him better than ever before, just made that movie really work for me.

In many ways WW worked better in terms of the storytelling and pacing and emotion, but even with all that I still didn't get quite the same charge or thrill from watching it that I did with MOS that first time.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it again though. :)

I liked Wonder Woman. I think both the superman movies and the suicide squad were just pure and utter garbage in every single way. And though this movie had a bit of cheese and was a bit first degree, it was overal solid well done well preformed and successful in the way the reeves superman film was by having the central character who is someone with unbelievable power extremely endearing, charming, innocent and good hearted. Ultimately likeable which is something that the cavil superman movies utterly failed miserably at doing.

Whatever happens with these movies Wonder Woman works as a stand alone picture and I loved gal gadot as Wonder Woman. I don't need the training outfit but I'll eagerly and gladly now add this figure to my collection. Something I would have never dreamed of doing originally because of the movie it's actually from.

I think the training head is far better of a likeness but this one still looks good. I'm sure it's not the last Wonder Woman that will be made but I'll be getting her anyways.

You're not alone.

I'm probably in the even larger minority who liked BvS (UE) a bit more. Not sure if I liked WW or MoS more though. I'm a Superman fan as well so I want to say MoS for the very same reasons, but this film had a great tone to it. I also at the same time want to say I liked WW better, but I'm fresh off of the excitement of seeing it so it may not be the most level headed comparison.

However, it was essentially the DCEU's version of the MCU's TFA and I liked it better than TFA.

I'm a huge DC fan, but if there's something I hate this fandom is the "you didn't like it cause you didn't understand it" argument. Like I loved BvS, but I hate when people think it's all intelectual and that they're super smarter than people for liking it.

Sorry but I don't buy that the shift in tone was coming. It's good that they've found a better balance but I think the overall mixed reactions to the first three films brought about the shift.

Screenwriter Chris Terrio talked about JL having a lighter tone before BvS released.

Only for people who don't understand the film.

Why is it that every time a movie comes out and is panned, a small but extremely vocal group of people that convince themselves it was either by some kind of conspiracy, or rather develop a sense of self righteous superiority about it, insisting that the average viewer was just too dumb to appreciate it; and that they of superior intellect are the only ones that can enjoy it?

Maybe it was just a crap movie that got bad reviews since most people think it sucked?

That's not to say that anyone is wrong for liking it. Believe me, I like a lot of crap movies as well. But I don't think it's because I'm smarter than everyone that hated it. More that cinema is subjective and I may just enjoy elements that other people don't as much?

With that said, while the entire DC Universe thus far was one of the biggest cinematic train wrecks ive ever seen, this movie was surprisingly good and I really want to order this figure now.

I just get tired of people comparing Henry Cavill to Christopher Reeve, it's not a bad thing that they're different... it doesn't make either of them less Superman, I keep seeing people say "it's not faithful to the source material" or "it doesn't have the spirit of who Superman is supposed to be"... these people are full of crap.

I grew up on 89 and the Animated Series Batman, I was 16 or 17 when Batman Begins came out and I HATED the Nolan films(still do)... but I never wanted to change anything either(because I wasn't THAT much of a jerk) it may not be my Batman but hey, it made a lot of people happy.

I think like some of you, Zack Snyder had this tonal change in mind all a long, Debra and Zack helped make the WW film while BvS was still in post production(around 4 months after they finished filming) so WW wasn't changed during filming because of bad reviews like some want you to believe.

A comment like that showcases why you didn't get the movie. Embarrassing post.

I didn'tt get the movie because ... i pointed out that romance stuff is not interesting for me as is interesting for my wife? Wow. That must be that new american style of thinking.

People need to let go of Reeves superman and Keaton's Batman.....let be honest they are fairly sh&t. Ok when you are 10 but unwatchable now.

Hahaha! I haven't been able to watch Superman The Movie since I was around that age, it bores me, Reeve is great but everything else about that film is bad... I still watch 89 Batman at least 4 times a year, it never gets old for me.

I don't know about Reeves, but Keaton was fantastic Batman and maybe even more as Wayne. What is sh&tty about him specifically? I would like you to elaborate.

89 batman is the better of the 2 Keaton movies alright. I just never really took to them.
I love Bales batman, I really didn't think it would be easy to follow him...but I do think Affleck has done a great job so far and will Only get better.

I have no issue with Keaton in the role...I just don't think they are great films, espically returns. That's a turd of a movie.

Can't be a turd! Just because of best Catwoman we ever had! And Penguin too, maybe.
