His vids are a tad long, but I still like them. Just love the accent haha. I may have missed it, but who does he put down?

One example @0:48. There are many different ways of making the point he made without attacking the other reviewer. This is only a hobby just to put things in perspective.

Thats just Clipper's style he has that offensive type of humor, just watch the vids with his family he talks that way to his kids its all for fun. Xenomorph, DeanKnight, Clipper, and old Nenny Dee all have their own styles and will give you the best possible reviews, I miss Nenny Dee. If I want to see how much punishment a figure can take Il check out Optibutimus

I know that's his style and those are all good reviewers. Yeah, Nenny Dee was pretty active back in the day and Ryno used to do reviews too. I also miss the Figure Talk videos they did regularly for a little while.

There's better ways to approach it than by saying "these f-in Hong Kong reviewers trying to take my job...." for sure, but I don't mind him calling white glove out for calling Sharon Carter BW. That's like calling Tony Stark Hawkeye. I would just think someone who's spending hundreds of dollars on toys plus taking out a lot of time to make these videos would know the difference between the 2 at this stage in the game. But I'm no reviewer so I suppose I shouldn't be so critical.

Yeah, Clip is easily the best reviewer for Hot Toys. But he puts down other people and it seems like that's the only way he can feel good about himself. I watch his reviews for the figure related content but there is always some drama queen flavor mixed in which can be childish.

Fair point, i do understand how people could see that from some of the things i say and I understand that because people dont always know the background of my little "finger burners" i dish out and thats why it would seem drama queenish or even childish as you say. And i dont really give two ****s about white gloves or even how he reviews its more a vailed way of saying im on to you you little ****er. For example "white gloves" as you all call him is a guy called joe au yeung , who spent about three weeks messaging me touting for business and a youtube boost much like the one i gave budget stark , ive got a phone full of recorded messages of him slanging off anthony tsang ( budget stark ) and telling me how much he was over charging me per figure , which is quite scary when ya buy as many figures as i do. Over time I realised he wasnt far wrong but once he'd sold his figures and had his shout out he did the same thing as he slanged budget stark off for. I also see the buttering up that goes on , theres a reason shartamus prime shouts out budget stark in a recent video ....... 6-8 months ago shartamus messaged me to ask if he could use budget as a contact in hongkong to boost his views in competition with optibotamus and sean long!!! But anyway my point is some of the digs i make against others you have to read between the lines because the most valid thing i said is " hongkong sellers masquerading as reviewers " because they're not , they're advertising what they sell at high mark up prices. How many bad reviews do they do , or tell ya not to buy this figure ??? Same as the big three american reviewers , sell sell sell
I on the other hand dont care a **** if anyone buys this new captain America, in fact ill say now its a backward step from the age of ultron version and my review will say why , and im not scared of venting my dislike of the figure because i buy my own **** and i can say what the **** i like.

Makes more sense now. Thanks for that. I always wonder why some of these big reviewers, for example, don't know why there was an extra set of forearm rockets on the 1/4 scale (movie accurate ones), can't remember when IM had the infected headsculpt in AoU (never), or even call someone who's obviously not BW, BW. I suppose I'm looking it from a fan standpoint and correlate that to the only reason why anyone would review these figures. I love these movies and genuinely watch them so the "red flags" make me wonder that much more, "did they even watch the movie?"

Clipper is the most blunt reviewer, and while I may not always agree with some of his points for whether they are good or bad (as with any reviewer), he is the most objective reviewer out there. I like a clean review that will pick out things when necessary, and that's what he does. I feel informed walking away from his vids.

I usually have no problems with reviewers, but Sean Long. Man. I can't watch his videos.

I for one love Clipperking . He's brutally honest. He's the only reviewer I actually watch when I'm on the fence of a figure.


On the other hand , i loathe SidesShows "reviewer ". I'm not saying his name because he'll probably get offended.

I only watch reviews to get a better look at a figure, so i pay very little attention to opinions and scores. I probably watch Buget Stark the most just because his are short, have good info and great shots of the figure. I have never decided to get a figure based on a review

I watch a lot of reviews and while I do have respect for people who even do them, clippers is probably the only one I don't fall asleep to. He's blunt, brutally honest and makes a recommendation. That's all I ask for in reviews. When he slagged the other dude, I clicked on the link and when he said Agent 13 was BW, I cringed. That's how you lose credibility. Anyhow while I'm sad to hear that HT may have taken a step back, I will still end up getting this Cap. He still looks solid and I do like the costume a lot

I watch about 4 different reviewers and enjoy them all. Took awhile to find some that did not annoy me, had great lighting and video quality. i laughed when Figure Junkie he said Black Widow but still watched for the close ups of the figure. I agree Clippers is the best for a Car and Driver type review for someone deciding to buy.
