I was talking about it with Graywolf the other day and concluded that it's basically an oversized green muscle body that HT needs to make!
I can definitely see them make it. Hell, they're making Iron Monger after all...

As for size:

18" tall, give or take?

not 100% certain on how tall he is, but we've got a life-size hulk from that movie in our location at fort benning. WE bought him from marvel after the hulk movie left theaters.

I see in the Movies/TV Captain America thread that there won't be any mention of Nazis in the film and the bad guys will be generic German soldiers and members of Hydra. Has anyone from the studio commented as to why that is? Is it because of the inevitable marketing blitz and they don't want to catch heat for Nazi toys lining the toy aisles at Target and Toys R Us?

Most likely, that's the reason. I've never seen any WWII toy of a German marketed as a Nazi toy. it's always "German soldier/officer/Chancellor/whatever"

That is so very true and it also explains why the Red-Skull PF didn't
come with any official swastika's. IMO I think he should have, after all
he is a Nazi.

yeah, I remember they didn't really cost "too much" when they were selling them. I remember thinking that was the first time "space" was actually an issue that stopped me from getting something

Why is it that when other countries make a film to celebrate their own country, those citizens aren't conditioned to feel guilty about how it will make other countries feel?

B/c other countries are conditioned to be patriotic whereas we're conditioned to think that we're bad americans and can't offend anyone NO MATTER WHAT!

I say if the other countries don't like that captain america is american then they should come up with their own hero and watch their own movies. It's complete bs that we take the AMERICAN part out of CAPTAIN AMERICA so as not to step on any ones toes.

At least its still called Captain America in America. I don't mind edits for other countries, just keep that timid watered down garbage out of the real movie.

GI Joe and Superman Returns are both guilty of removing American patriotism from all versions of the movies, which to me is much worse.

Where are the Captain America movie trailers? The movie is supposed to be out on 7/22/11 and no trailer. With Spidey 4 due out on 7/1/11 one would guess Captain America will be pushed out???

Anyway, the costume design and screen shots of the movie so far look epic. Hoping for Iron Man Quality action and story line.
