the prequels is a mess from all fronts and you nitpick about the existence of a single color of a lightsaber? hehe...

No argument there, but it's a good example of Jackson's douchyness.

they're taking jackson out without first letting him know

Hopefully someone at Marvel shared my disdain for the loser, and realized his ilk doesn't deserve common courtesy :lecture:lol

did he insist on it? or did he merely offer a suggestion and then lucas obliged him? either way, the director and creator has the final say in the prequels. so if you have a problem with purple lightsaber, it's obvious to me you're blaming the wrong guy.

his ilk? yeah, lump all those good actors together. someone at marvel thinks nobody deserves a courtesy and backstabbing the people who had worked with you in the media is the way of things. obviously, their preemptive strategy is working since some gullible fans are taking marvel's side.

At the end of the day, Jackson's ego = purple lightsaber. :exactly:

:lol

You're so ready to jump down throats, were you a Jets or Bears fan by any chance? I sympathize with Norton and the others, and meant it's sweet justice for losers like Jackson who douche it up in Hollywood to get that treatment. Also, not a gullible Marvel fan in the least. My disgust with the Cap movie outfit should have tipped you off on that :wave

jets n bears, i suppose those are sports team? i'm in asia so i have no clue who they are. i thought you were referring to norton, etc. when you meant "his ilk". pardon my mistake. your disgust of cap's costume only mean you have good taste. that is all. :wink1:

Can we expect HT to do a Hulk for the Avengers movie, and if so how big would he be?

Football teams that failed to make the big show today :lol.

:peace

Semantics. He's still a douche bag:

His ego is also the reason purple lightsabers exist :lol

massive nerd time.
There were purple lightsabers before SAM Jackson.
the Jedi knight video game, as well as the Kevin j Anderson Young jedi knight books.

Hope so!

I was talking about it with Graywolf the other day and concluded that it's basically an oversized green muscle body that HT needs to make!
I can definitely see them make it. Hell, they're making Iron Monger after all...

As for size:

18" tall, give or take? :dunno

I would want a Hulk DX.

Besides the Hulk figure I would also want a Bruce Banner in mid to early transformation which I believe is something that has never been done before in any scale or medium.

Have his eyes pers and green and his mouth screaming with his shirt ripped open.

They could make a pers jaw that could open and close :lol

I would pose his hands grabbing his shirt and ripping it open. :gah:

Did I sell it good enough :lol

IGN:We can't say we're surprised about this, but Captain America: The First Avenger isn't going to be called Captain America when its released in some international markets later this year.

Citing "Marvel Studios insiders," The Los Angeles Times reports that the Marvel-Paramount movie will be released as simply The First Avenger in Russia, South Korea and the Ukraine.

"Those involved in the decision are being careful to frame the move as a matter of brand management and consumer awareness and not as a decision tilted by cultural or political winds, " according to the paper. "In private, Marvel insiders said that early on in the project's planning there was talk that the title might need to be changed in numerous international markets but that there was a 'pleasant surprise' — the brand recognition of the comic-book superhero was so strong that it overrode those considerations in many places. That was not the case in Russia, South Korea and the Ukraine."

Director Joe Johnston told the Times that in his film Steve Rogers "wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver. ... It's an international cast and an international story. It's about what makes America great and what make the rest of the world great too."

do you live in russia, south korea or the ukraine? if you do, will you watch the entire movie and not know it's captain america? if you don't why does it matter? who gives a crap what they call it?

I don't know how I feel about that. Although I like "The First Avenger" What are they going to remove the A from his mask and change the colors too? Did Ivan Drago win in Rocky IV in the Russian version?

Does the title in Russia really matter? Movies are renamed for other countries all the time. In China "Kindergarten Cop" was called "Devil King of Children."
