Hoping the specs impress me more then this teaser, since I was really looking forward to this figure... liking the Medusa head, but she looks a bit different in the movie, no?

actually she looks pretty much like she does in the movie.
as much as i like the original because of all the work ray harry haussen did before we had cgi ..
this movie is for the new generation that sometimes doesn't like the classics as we do as collectors honor them..

i will buy this figure...

I totally agree man! He looks a bit plain... His expression is too normal... Like he's showing the Medusa head while saying: "Look what I found" or something... I really hope the specs and pics will be be more impressive!

I don't know, it does look a little plain (certainly very similar to the Marcus HS), but from the angle in the pic, the expression seems to be the one from that particular scene. Hopefully, when we see the official pics, the expression will come through.

I'm hoping they give him a ball jointed head like Wolverine so it can be moved around.

Looks like it's connected to the neck and he's stuck looking up.

sweetness cant wait to see the full specs and pics. been waiting for figures from this since they annouced the license most anticipated for me (right behind the Iron Man 2 figures)

I have a feeling that the headsculpt is a work in progress.
I also think they decided to bring out an early preview using the Marcus sculpt to coincide with the release of the movie.

What Costume Designer came up with that Armor? That HS is horrible!

Not really digging Medusa's face. She has the face that reminds me of that creature in Enemy Mine.
