Kinda wish the did the portrait of the guy from anh on the original Kenner package...he was older and had a headset underneath the helmet

The more I stare at the uniform, the more I think we may see this figure stretch across a few key characters. That could be used for Tarkin, Nadeen, etc... Hell, maybe a AT-ST pilot.

I really wish they would do a Rebel Fleet Trooper. That could also be released within the Rogue One line.

But i guess that would be too much to ask of Hot Toys. I think they are swamped.

I have the Sideshow RFT and have no complaints. It's one of their better human figures, IMO...

I had no idea he was so rare. I only found two Rebel Troopers on the Bay, both around $200. Only one Captain Antilles as well. HT upgrades would indeed be in order!

I have the Sideshow RFT and have no complaints. It's one of their better human figures, IMO...

I agree....I'd love to see a great repaint of the head....sculpt is pretty spot on

Yep, and considering they only cost around $75 back in the day, pricing is pretty inflated. Shows HT there must be a need. There's no way I'm paying that much for a sculpt of that vintage.

pretty sure it was $50 still as of that figure.....and the worst part of the piece: the weird collar......and the base body wasn't great, but the head was well done, sculpt-wise!

An upgrade of some Fleet Troopers would be most welcome! I thought his sculpt looked great as a fill in Imperial Officer.

The director, Gareth Edwards' cameo was even as a Rebel Fleet Trooper !!! What better reason do you need ?

Nice upgrades Stickman, those look really good. We'll done.

My advice is to buy a $20 upgraded body, sculpt and pick up the Sideshow figure. I still think the outfit holds up with some minor alterations.




I doubt Hot Toys will get to this one. It really is a shame, these are some of the most iconic outfits in the whole Saga

Chakaman, coming from the master craftsman that you are, I thank you! I used some Rif dye to make the shirts more blue, also I used the HT gloved Han hands. It would be great to get an improved tailored figure.

I really like the dye job on those shirts, the blue really pops. I may have to try it.

Sure, I used Agent Coulson for the trooper and Joseph Gordon Levitt for Antilles. I have a couple more Troopers in the pipeline, trying to find a couple nice sculpts.

Based on the price and bare-bones nature of the Gunner, I doubt that the control panel was anything more than a prop at the shows. Can't see something that large being included with the DS trooper.
