i speak about the arguing who are here in this thread about the locomotion position of the dog alien...

I don't get what the big deal is.
Sure it's a Runner, but every Alien we have seen thus far walked on all fours at one point. (Queen excluded) The runner just did it more often.

Yes, that's true, but when did Big Chap walk on all fours? I remember all of them but him.

ummm...i don't remenber the giger alien walking silly on all fours ( if not you're refering to the cut " crab walk " scene ) nor any of the cameron warriors a part where obviously it is need to crawl for environmental reason like in the tunnels or on the hive walls, but i don't really recall any stupid a-la anderson AVP on-all-four walk in the first films

Yes, the "crab walk".
The Cameron Aliens did it in the control room also...well, it was more like a "bunny hop".
As for the Anderson Aliens...umm...in the tunnels, before Grid attacked the Chopper Pred, and over Celtic's dead body.
Also, there were a bunch of them doing the four-legged-walk before they rescued the Queen and at the base of the Ice tunnel.

anyway the crab walk isn't exatly meant to be as a
locomotion option...yes first time i've see it i've find it very creepy, but seing on big screen a legion of xenomorph who attacks you crab walking could resultin in a disastrous reactions of laughs by the audience ( and the fans who want you as a dead director too )

I thought that you were going to say something like that about "the walk".
My point was, that all aliens walked on their four limbs at one point or another. How they did it, well... that's something else.
