The Dog Burster and the Facehugger are made by Konami.
Although the Facehugger has been customized to look like the Super Facehugger. The actual figure is a regular Facehugger.

The Dog Burster is not 1:6, but the Facehugger is very close.

well to me dog alien is just an normal alien that has his skin turned brown and his legs banned but still i have got to say that is freaking AWESOME :chew

You're aware that scene there is not CGI. There's only one scene that has CGI, and it's when the Alien starts to crack up from being covered in hot lead and then cooled.
The scene pictured above and all other scenes that aren't of a actor in a suit, are all green screened rod puppets.


If Hot Toy's Dog Alien can't achieve an all fours stance then it's a epic fail. That's what makes this Alien unique amongst all others. I'm pretty sure it can, HT wouldn't screw up that bad. I think what's at SDCC is a prototype without the articulation underneath.

It did look off, almost like it was filmed on a different type of film.

Now that I have seen the profile in a photo, I am worred. Looks like the legs won't go all the way back/forward and dog pose. IF it does, great! If not, it's a bit less enthusiasm I will have, but I will still get it regardless.
Looks about 85% right. Not perfect, but ok. So, I am in agreement with the above comment.

Well, its just very poor compositing. The only CGI in the movie (theatrical) was the cracking Dome at the end of the movie. Other then that, its a practical rod puppet compostited into the scene. Im sure had Fox not been screwing the movie over from day 1, it might have been cooler looking.

I as well was hoping to pose it like this, though now it looks like we wont be able to, this was gonna be my first Hot Toys alien, and it looks like they broke off the deal. as others said, I hope this is a prototype, early rendition. Everyone wants the queen face hugger, I say to hell with the face hugger, I want the queen chest burster!

I have faith in Hot Toys, and feel that they will update the Alien 3 Alien later with more articulation. Like others have said, this is probabbly just the real early prototype of the Runner.
