At least this one actually feels like a DX with all those accessories as opposed to MJ and his...extra shirt...

Most people would probably buy this Bruce just for the added hands, accessories, and dio. Forget the BD face, I guess.

Out of curiousity -- and this probably wouldn't match the skin tone -- has anyone ever tried putting an Enterbay head onto an HT body?

I actually think the normal sculpt is pretty good. I don't own any Enterbay Bruce Lee figures or any statues of him and they're prices for the older ones ( which I like best ) seem to be sky high nowadays.
If they can fix that bd sculpt they're on to a winner and with all us complaining and people already moaning on facebook I think it's likely.

That was bad ass.


I actually haven't even bought a dx yet, just some joker bits for my custom. This is highly likely to be my first.

At least we know Supes is likely to come as well as the other figures mentioned. Hopefully anyway.

They were right about one thing , it certainly has surprised most of us.

This to me looks better than any ETB Bruce Lee sculpt.

Despite being disappointed at the battle damaged sculpt and also the weird body, I will be getting this, fully confident that HT will fix whatever flaws there are before the release.

Well EB lost the Godfather War, in this case HT looses the Bruce War.

I think it's better any pre-Fist of Fury headsculpt EB has done... but on par with Fist of Fury's.

It definitely isn't. The muscle definition looks downright odd in places. So many lines.

Still, this HT body just looks WEIRD. Like someone mentioned, it looks like he has no skin and his bare muscles are painted in skin tone.

WTF Hot Toys Man you come right out of a comic book.
I've just purchased the 1/4 scale Enterbay statue which ____s on this from a great height. Hot Toys had absolutely no need to visit a licence Enterbay have perfected and have cornered. Also, as much as i love Bruce Lee and MJ, they are being done to death (excuse the pun)
Is it too much to ask to concentrate on grail licences that 'haven't' been made for a change?

addressing the highlighted comment - just my opinion:

1. they jumped on a bandwagon line and this will sell well overall, despite the fact that it will sell less in places like the US. Plus, its not like people passing on this will pass on HT all together. When CR Supes is out, everyone who wanted that would still buy it regardless. Heck, most ppl here buy anything that comes out (exaggeration - but you know what I mean). Conclusion: they could make money, they did it. Making money is a need for a company.

2. BL is a icon, HT sculptors and HT team members probably feel proud and worked hard on this project and had a good time. Keep in mind, the business case for tapping into BL is already clear - theres still money to be made. Add this onto the fact that the HT staff probably wanted to and were interested in taking a stab at creating their take on BL. Having a little bit of say in what they want to make and how doing something that might be meaningful to themselves is reasonable. Its not like folks at HT are mindless zombies who will only make something because there is 100% buy-in. Conclusion: More than likely, this was a meaningful/good project to undertake, and maybe that is a need in itself.

Well, I meant the head sculpt. Statue or not, both the head and body are more accurate, in my opinion. The 1/6 Enterbay BL bodies are almost as impressive.
