yeah, lord of the rings is worlds better.

Guns > swords :monkey3

Terminators > Hobbits :lol

Better pacing imo > dragged out scenes of two hobbits starting at each other going " oooohh " :monkey3

LOTR does probably have better acting and imo a better soundtrack although Terminators is amazing too.
I guess it depends a lot on if you grew up with terminator.

I actually couldn't disagree more, I'd take swords over guns any day. I find a good battle with more medieval weapons more entertaining then just guns going off. I like terminator but i think the lord of the rings is a landmark film and just better then pretty much anything. the movies aren't even similar, why are we even talking about this any way?

Just woke up and saw this. I already have enterbays superior bruce lees. This one isn't bad but Hot Toys were acting as if they'd made a figure that's never been done before. This is an epic failure in my book.

Because you're...

:lol Sorry couldn't resist.

They're films that are impossible to compare. I love LOTR and have had a few statues from it , I'm just messing around in this thread. :rotfl

Anyway , what was all that about Tommy Richardson ?. :lol

I don't know what to make of this... I have cobbled together EB's FoF version - bought the head, body and outfit separately for around $220. I really wanted the Enter the Dragon versions but who can afford them?

So at least Bruce is now affordable to those who want him as a 1/6, and maybe it'll put the sculpting pirates out of business, which can't be a bad thing. Those wondering where the market is, it's all those folks who couldn't afford EB's version.

I'm a Bruce fan but I think my Bruce dollars are spent... my wife is awesomely cool about my expensive hobby, but I don't know if she'd get why I have to fork out another couple hundred bucks on a figure I already have - sort of.

And why is that?

point 2 was to say that on top of the clear business case (which really is all they need to justify anything they do), a project on making a BL figure probably was of interest / well taken and executed by the staff. Basically I am saying that maybe it was a meaningful project to be able to give this a shot, given that EB has dominated BL figures.

And I'm sorry but no one will outsculpt Arnie Kim when it comes to Bruce Lee. That is not opinion, that is fact.

Rainman will hopefully deliver. Nope, I'm now done with HT until they announce him.

:rock:rock

I've been saving for that , he'd better make it or I'm going to spend this cash on something ridiculous. I can see it already. :monkey1:lol

Can you believe I haven't slept since we last spoke on here ?. I think I have insomnia. I'm not even tired. :monkey4

No , probably not but if hot toys can triumph in bringing all that stuff with it and have a quite substantial price difference that makes up for it imo
