Let us never speak of the SSC Anakin in this thread again.

As well as the 42nd, I really want a nice Biker Scout too, but I'm not into same-y looking set ups, so I don't know. SSC make good troops generally, so my preference would naturally go to the OT guys first. It depends what SSC make first - or if they make both, which of the two is a better overall figure.

HT really have a great opportunity with Anakin though, to fully deck the set out. Two PERS heads, two outfits (pre / post Mustafar duel), lava miner platform as a DX base, different arm / glove attachments - basically a mirror of the Luke set essentially.

It could be awesome.

That Anakin figure is pretty bad.. I wouldn't be after it if it wasn't for a custom headsculpt I got coming from Darren.

I have 4 figures on PO from IM3 and just got my MK VII last week. I don't hate Iron Men.. just wish SW got the same attention.

I'm not even a huge Prequel Trilogy fan and that sounds cool to me. I'd even consider buying a figure like you described. I still need to get my hands on a DX07 Luke too. Also trying to decide whether or not I want the Sideshow Vader or not.
