Now that I read this I think I may have to go with the weathervane mounted on the top shelf of my detolf:

* One (1) light-up Weathervane stand which can be mounted onto the wall or ceiling and allows 90 degree movement

It's definitely too big to fit inside a detolf shelf. There was a picture posted in another thread and the vane looks almost three times as tall as the figure! I hope it also comes with the diorama backdrop of the shaft.

For me the weather vane is going to be a wasted accessory. Im actually debating selling it. But then I wont have a "complete" DX07. Which the OCD in me will be annoyed with. So I may just have it displayed alone next to my ESB stuffs.

My clean Luke will be displayed with my other favorite movie characters like Indy, Jack, T-800 etc.

And the Battle Damaged Luke will be displayed with the upcoming SS ESB/ROTJ Vader.

After years & years of crappy 1:6 scale Luke Skywalker figures from Hasbro, Medicom and Sideshow it's nice to finally see 2 great ones and it comes as no suprise that Hot Toys are the company to finally do the character justice.

Yes. Agreed whole heartedly. They have been "attempts" but this one in more powerful than I could possibly imagine.

I think the line would have still sold if they debuted Jedi Luke at that price... he was definitely a better figure than the Medicom version which was the same price.

I guess we were lucky Sideshow was willing to keep costs low early on.

I know people don't always agree with HotToys pricing, but considering this is a 2 pack of characters (even though its the same character) with an environment and a ton of accessories, am I the only one that thinks this thing is a great deal?:dunno

No. I totally agree. A good chunk of a diorama and two FULL figures for $299 (not to mention both figures are PERS)? So essentially $150 per figure? It's an amazing deal, perhaps designed to get people super hyped up for future Hot Toys Star Wars releases by introducing their first figure(s) at practically a bargain price.

Bravo, Hot Toys.

Agreed with rubio95 and FLOSI (and I'm pretty sure most feel it's a good deal, considering what single HT figures go for). Love that they included a light-up weather vane (would've been easy for them to skip the light-up part or not include at all), two bases, two full figures for the clean/BD (they could've cheaped out here, too, and just included a second outfit with head so you'd have to go and bash the other Luke together) and all the accessories you could reasonably expect. Can't wait for this to ship in October.

I agree. Great post

Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking this is a great set for the money. Kind of wishing companies would do this more often.

It's a nice price for two figures and mine is almost paid off due to a series of events with my Sideshow account. Kind of wish the Avengers were in the same price range.

Very true. When you compare this DX set with Avengers figure prices, it really makes this feel like even more of a bargain.
