No-one else's critique is going to dampen my anticipation for this figure but I do find the opinion that the clean HS is somehow sub-par a bit perplexing. It's far and away the best Star Wars human likeness and, IMO, the best likeness of Hamill in any format.

I'm thinking this might be the first figure I lose an NRD on. The more I see all this awesome stuff coming out, I'm not sure I want to spend this much on a figure with what I think is a sub-par head sculpt.

Considering the exclusive is apparently "open edition" territory, it will probably be available for less than retail down the line anyway.

Me too. Mine's practically paid off minus taxes and shipping. So now we wait. This very well could be the definitive Luke figure, and I'm not passing that up for anything.

I am disappointed we got nothing new at the show. Was really hoping for a Han or Ben. HT can do the main characters, one every 18 months or so, and leave the rest to SS.

I'd advise people not to cancel though, this figure will sky rocketing price a year after its release. Being the first HT SW figure and the best one out there, it's gonna become a hot comidity; many people who don't know about this figure or don't care about it now will end up buying it once it's released.

When I looked at this figure the first time I had the same feeling I had when I looked at the Joker DX01 figure from HT and I decided to wait....fast forward to now I don't have a DX01 and I would be lucky to pay 400$ for it so I will not be screwed canceling my PO for this beautiful figure. My money is on it only getting better and the head sculpt looks awesome so far so you are right it only gets better from here for the HT Luke.
