I don't like the HS at all but the rest of the figure(s) is great, so I'll gladly wait to have it in hands before the final judgment.

Question is will it be revised to some degree before actual release, or is it going to be like HT Indy.

When I looked at this figure the first time I had the same feeling I had when I looked at the Joker DX01 figure from HT and I decided to wait....fast forward to now I don't have a DX01 and I would be lucky to pay 400$ for it so I will not be screwed canceling my PO for this beautiful figure. My money is on it only getting better and the head sculpt looks awesome so far so you are right it only gets better from here for the HT Luke.

Yeah, I actually bought that DX01 for $120 with free shipping (a deal like that will never happen again :slap)... so I know what you mean, but that release was pretty much flawless but the "hero" head on this Luke one is a problem and if it's not fixed I can't see this being a "grail" fig the way Joker DX01 is (or maybe was, after Joker 2.0 sees release) The BD head on this is 10/10 though, so who knows if a DX set with one sub-par head could become a grail fig.

Even for all the faults some people find with the regular headsculpt it is still the best luke headsculpt to date in my opinion even if not changed at release. And the BD sculpt is beyond words...oh did I mention that the cloths and weather vane make this well worth the money. :rotfl

He may not be that grail piece that some are looking for but I will settle for the crown jewels :nana:

Yeah sure, it's the best Luke to date, I agree, but that doesn't mean a lot because there's been some terrible ones in various formats.

The point is some people think the hero sculpt needs a tweak and it may be getting one, hence the delay? Maybe?

I wonder if the hair will be swappable, so those who don't like the hero head can use the BD as the hero... maybe?

Everyone had the same complaints over HT Chris Reeve Superman and they re-sculpted the head. I suspect that being the reason for the push back on the release. I think we will all be truly pleased when the revised pics are released.

I'm okay with my Obi-Wan. It's on a TT with some of the newer Indy hands and now I just need to get the sculpt repainted by Ski (which I've been meaning to do for ages). I can't see how HT can possibly improve on it, though I have been thinking about leather boots as an upgrade.

Best Hamill likeness, worst proportions. :p

Life sucks.

I think that pic is the best to show how close the likeness is... but just a little off can make a huge difference in a character many know and love :lol

I really am surprised HT has not taken more advantage of this license, but I hope the slow pace means they are putting all their efforts into making these figures as good as possible.

I like it.
Yeah, me too. Completely fine with that being the final clean headsculpt. Again, no idea how anyone could call that "sub-par". Anyone saying that should compare this to Sideshow's efforts (or any other media, for that matter -- I have yet to see a sculpt or painting that totally nails Hamill -- he seems to have a tough face to replicate exactly).

Not when they are working on Iron Man version 365! They need time to finish up the latest Marvel figure, then Luke comes on down!!!

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

C'mon, give us this figure now!!! :impatient:
hope this delay is for some improvements , but I'm very happy with the prototipe
