How is it no pun intended when it's obviously pun intended?

The very use of the phrase makes no sense because it shows that you noticed the pun to say "no pun intended"... which means pun was intended or it wouldn't have been said at all.

Gosh!

Have to disagree. There are legitimate uses for the phrase "no pun intended", though I agree this is not one of those times. :monkey2

Yeah, I actually bought that DX01 for $120 with free shipping (a deal like that will never happen again :slap).

Mine was $50 on Amazon through Go Hastings. I had no idea what I was ordering. Back then I just thought it would be a cool Joker to go with my DC Direct 13" Batman!

You should have seen the look on my face when I discovered how much was in the box!

Let's relax shall we?

No matter how many times I see it, it always boggles my mind...

Why, Hot Toys?

Just...why?

I think Vintij thinks you, Boot, are the one responsible for that awful mash up of the Vader/Luke head on the Luke body. When, in fact, it was some poor dim bulb over at HT that thought his abomination would be a good idea.

Who knows if you can actually put that accessory on the body. But should it be done? No. No it should not.

Honestly, it was meant to be a lighthearted, rhetorical kinda question but since you ask, VDG...I'm saying it's an odd choice either way!

First of all, why manufacture the head in such a way that it can be placed on the body? Who's going to display it like that? Wouldn't a fully sculpted severed neck be preferable to a big ol' peg hole?

Secondly, if it is just 'Shopped for Show and the head is truly just an accessory - who made the insane and completely unnecessary choice to show it on the body?

It's just weird, man. HT is weird as hell sometimes. :lol :duff
