Release The Skywalker

Erm, no they're really not. Subtley different in paint work, yes. But they are the exact same sculpt, minus the PERS.

Luke1.jpg

Vader's mouth still seems wider and more open but that can be paintwork games.
The eyebrow position and the distance between eyebrow and eye, on the contrary, is completely different and that (unless PERS can move eyebrows) means that they're different sculpts.

It is, has been, and always will be

THE. SAME. DAMN. SCULPT.

(The reason they look different is one has PERS and the other doesn't)

:pow

Actually, you're wrong! It is a different sculpt. It has the initial template of the other sculpt, but the expressions have been changed to match that scene in the film. He has frowning eyebrows, lips slightly different , and the eyes.

You don't have to yell. :monkey2

What makes me scratch my head is why the battle damaged sculpt has no likeness issues. PERS isn't hurting that one (the likeness, that is; it still hurts the portrait by being there).

A bigger eyelid might have improved it. Hamill's pupils shouldn't be fully visible. But this isn't Hamill, it's Luke Skywalker. -_-

Love the EX - one of the best yet......but I am expecting it to be a display piece only......if it ends up being able to attach to the body, I am gonna laugh my *** off

I don't get why they would do that, it was never attached to a body in the movie!

I love the EX though, detail is amazing!

Because sideshow has a new vader coming out and it would be cool to attach it to that or have it laying on the ground be headed

Yeah, not sure how you display it... very cool looking tho.

It sure beats SSC lando's exclusive accessory... little space rattle/microphone thingie.

Mine will be going on this little circular base (where some twigs currently are) below Yoda's Hut :lecture

And personally I love this exclusive, think about the symbolism and significance of Luke's head inside of Vader's dome. Great bit of foreshadowing and a way to sum up the one of the major conflicts of the OT. What's not to love :huh
