I love it (no it wouldnt go on Bespin Luke) but it would maybe go on a SSC Vader to do a display from Dagobah

People made a fuss over how much more accurate the exclusive portrait was, compared to the clean portrait. Hot Toys putting the exclusive head on the clean body could be a hint that the clean portrait has been revised and will be of the same quality as the exclusive.

But who knows.

Eyebrow position and mouth opening are different. But, yeah, that's PERS.

Erm, no they're really not. Subtley different in paint work, yes. But they are the exact same sculpt, minus the PERS.

Well.. the Vader head definitely looks more like Hamill to me - even if it is simply a result of the lack of PERS being the only factor.

Either way - I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome; HT finally doing SW - & for it to be my fave version of one of my fave characters??

100% agree. My point was that the sculpt is fine. It's the PERS that throw off the likeness.

This is the one figure where I really like the PERS. Think it works for Luke/Hamill but I agree it can throw off the look of other characters, most notably for me T2/Arnold and Indy/Ford.

Also, I may be in the minority, but I hope they don't change a thing with either sculpt (clean/BD). They're as likely to screw something up as make it better, IMO.
