I bet the base of the head has burnt wires & no peg hole.

And personally I love this exclusive, think about the symbolism and significance of Luke's head inside of Vader's dome. Great bit of foreshadowing and a way to sum up the one of the major conflicts of the OT. What's not to love

Well said, GB. The exclusive with this set is one of the best ever and a no brainer for display with Yoda's Hut. Don't think I'd ever bother attaching to the new DX Vader, though, even if they're compatible (or beheading him so this EX can be placed at his feet). Vader has more iconic stuff he can be doing but I guess if someone wanted to make the ultimate Degobah environment, it could work.

Mate, look at it clearly, the eyebrows are positioned differently, initially it is the same sculpt but it has had tweaks!

100% agree. My point was that the sculpt is fine. It's the PERS that throw off the likeness.

The changes they made to accommodate PERS (ie some minor tweaking to the eyes) are what is off about the regular sculpt. But they are essentially the same sculpt. I was being deliberatley obtuse in the post you are quoting. I thought that was obvious.

Well it has already been postponed once, it was meant to have a June release before, so they've pushed it back quite far already. I'm going to stay optimistic.

Oh, and I have always had a reply to any e-mail I have sent Hot Toys.

Im usually ok with delays since it usually means I get a better figure for it, but yeah I have But if other pre-orders I have come on time Im in trouble. DX10 is scheduled for October release, and I have HT Avengers Captain America in September...Then I have my flex pay for DX11 in October too....ugh...
