Like Jagger?
Luke was a whinny **** like his father before him..
What? Rory I respect you but...
Couldn't agree more. Hawkeye's hair noticeably suffers also and he has just been released.
Certainly notice the difference between those and there older figures I have, hopefully Luke will be up to past efforts
Not talking about distortion, not talking about angles, talking about detail and sculpt which is why its relevant to take theFirst two pics have the heads greatly distorted.
T-800 is slightly farther from the camera and is angled, avoiding the distortion to make it look weird
just saying
But, your criticism of these heads while you praise the 1/4 EB Batman
makes me excited that I'll be blown away by that 1/4 fig.
No man, quite serious. As you know I spend quite a bit of time photographing my dollies and I collect quite a wide range of figures.
There is a change for the worse in the HT headsculpt "look" recently. Not for the better I'm afraid. I actually
thought at first it was a paint app thing but some of the more knowledgeable freaks on the board pointed out it was a molding issue.
A lot more detail is being softened/lost in whatever process change HT is using. I have Capt:Rescue, Gordon, Red Skull and I know
that personally as much as I like the figures, the look of the headsculpts bothers me. I know I'm not alone in this, OMG was particularly scathing of
the Nick Fury head for the same reason. And now it seems Avengers Hawkeye is the same. When I have been photographing the figures it's
become increasingly obvious, especially with a macro lens that there has been a change. Not all the recent releases have had this look though (baby doll/keaton Bats for eg).
And I'm really hoping Luke doesn't as it's an absolute grail set for me.
Two **** iphone pics to demonstrate the look I'm talking about...
I'm sure to a lot of people this isn't a problem, and I must stress I'm not talking about the artistic integrity of the sculpt,
but the end process/look. Have a check around some of the other threads and you will see the same conversations happening.
I never thought HT heads look toyish, even the earlier ones, these do IMO. And ironically just when HT tailoring is really improving.
All this sculpts and paint jobs look great to me.
Those additional photos further prove the 'softness' of the sculpts.
Agree to disagree my friend, allow me to post some of my own photos that illustrate my point.

What age do you think I am smart ***?Why, when I was your age, we bought a Han figure that looked like Randy Quaid with Down's syndrome and we liked it! Now you kids talk about your sculpts being too soft, BAH!
Exactly. I guess some folk just don't see it.Those additional photos further prove the 'softness' of the sculpts.
Where you see softness I see subtlety. If Hot Toys isn't good enough for you, then I wonder what makes the grade? I'd hate to hear what you think about SSC!
