I can tell by the way the figure looks that it smells like the packaging is corrugated cardboard with the art laid over it.

The more I look at those pics the more I just can't put it down to amateur photography, it looks like they have totally changed the sculpt from the prototype and not for the better!

They may have changed the sculpt in response to threads like this one. Maybe we shoulda been careful what we wished for!

Oh yeah. Since they made the head out of Play-Doh and painted it with Crayola markers, you know that thing will be crap. They probably made it the same way Sideshow crap gets made crappy.

Where is Medicom when you need them?

I tend not to complain when proto photo's are released and just assume any changes made will be for the better. I will however, moan when the final product looks *****.

I sold all my Sideshow Star Wars figures in order to start collecting the Hot Toys ones.

They failed in galactic proportions... !!! I will cancel my one order and buy all the Medicom figures on eBay right now !!!!!!!!

Remember kids... its all or nothing !

Hot toys now suck.. i will cancel all my Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, and 1/4 scale figures because of uncertainty and protest. Only once they show us some decent in hand photos will i rest, and re-order them all again, tell everyone how awesome they are and hope that no one will remember what a b***hy drama queen i was.

There is no other possibility besides that Hot Toys sucks, this figure is the worst figure ever, and the world will end four days before Christmas.

I just ordered a second from SS. I'm gonna wait till they charge the NRD then cancel so they know how cranky I am about this colossal **** up.

Definitely a proto. Its a whole new strategy from Hot Toys.

Make a prototype that is almost there, with quality clothing and sculpts that are decent .....then just before release, send out pics of a 2nd prototype that is just awful, just to mess with everyone for no reason.

Then release the retail version and BOOM! everyone will be so relieved there will be no complaining.
