I POed the Ex from SSC. If it's bad, I'll just return it, but there's no sense in cancelling right away just because of a few pics. If I had a penny for everytime I saw a great figure portrayed in crappy pics, then I could buy a couple more HT Lukes.

Serious question. If you buy something on Flex pay but decide to pull out is it transferable?

My flex pay's end after this comes out so I'm going to wait for some in hand pictures before I go making a rash decision.

The proto I liked, good sculpt and nice materials. This looks like the Bangkok version right next to the pirate DVD's and fake Diesel jeans.

Just had a another look at those photos.
Totally looks like someone has taken to them and given them a ****ty custom paint job with crap paints.
colours are off, textures off, its ****ed!
gosh! theyre absolutely appalling!!

I love you guys. I check this thread every few hours.. it's making my blood pressure go up, and then I get the biggest laugh in the world. I don't even care if this figure DOES suck.. just getting it as a reminder of my hours spent reading this thread is well worth the price! Bravo!

Come to think of it, that luke may actually be the proto not finish product, because ... I usually get it before JP store does and I haven't ......

Does JP store mean japanese store? I thought it was a HK one

Letting the head issues aside for a moment, the outfit looks cheap and nasty. I'm pretty sure that's the production version, look closely and you can see the HT fasteners on the inside of the jacket. They only appear on production models as far as I know. And if it was the proto why would they put a substandard costume on him??

The more I look at those pics the more I just can't put it down to amateur photography, it looks like they have totally changed the sculpt from the prototype and not for the better!

Hot Toys standards have plummeted if they think this is acceptable! I am being made redundant at work soon so I am now contemplating cancelling my pre-orders for this, Batman and Spider-man!
