I havent been in this thread since the begining. I usually stay away from SW threads after something is shown and come back before the release, because, well its SW and *****ing and fighting aways happens.


Those pics posted, the first thing that came to mind was HT sent the sculpt and pattern for outfit to SS with paint by numbers instructions to see what SS could come up with. Everything about those pics look like poop. The color and paint apps looks like SS.

If it turns out that bad for real, I'll just send it back. Not going to cry about it or keep it just because.

Those clothes were definitely SSC - you can't blame that on the bad photography either.

The suspense will hopefully be over any day now............I'm 50/50 on how he'll come out...decent/nice or a complete dud. I still don't think it will be a home run.....due to recent HT sculpting

Like everyone in the TDKR DX12 thread. That damn thing looks amazing and people are still disappointed and nit picking at it.

Maybe I'm being naive, but I kinda doubt that. I think in the first scenario, collectors will be disappointed, but seems to me there isn't much left to say about it. I'm holding out hope, but I find the 'HT used a QC fail Luke for a customs sample' to be a little far-fetched, so I'm pretty much resigned to what we saw in the HT window display being largely accurate.

I think in the second case, 9/10 collectors would be hugely relieved to get something approximating the prototypes after the horror of the initial photos.

I expected that thread to be a lot worse than it is, really, after hearing about it here. Seems most of the comments are pretty reasonable and have lightened up as more pics become available.

nothing official yet, but if they do i'd get a roy batty and a deckard for sure (thats if they even did more than 1 if they got it). If they dare tempt me with a spinner I'll be mad and have to buy it for my future self.

I think Blade Runner is the only other license, besides SW and Marvel, that I'd get into. I'd limit it to Deckard and Batty, though (also, no 1/6 spinner, unless I win the lotto).

Nah, look at the clothes in those dodgy Luke pics - it's the SSC jacket for sure.

Why did they use that jacket? It's got me stumped, but it ain't the proto HT jacket.

I think Luke will be fine in the end.
