I actually don't have this preordered as I don't so that with HT anymore, but I would like to get half of this set. Which half is the curiosity.

I do have it ordered. But as was previously established, I'm getting it no matter what it looks like, and I'll probably be especially happy if it's terrible.

I'm here cause it's my favorite SW figure, (arguably) And hugely anticipated HT doing SW. And it will be the first decent Luke since 2006.

It's a grail figure for me. (like CR supes) And if it turns out like those pics i will be gutted. (was always happy with the proto pics) And the only figure i have on PO.

I always liked the proto too, but I was never closed to seeing what else they came up with. I still don't think those pics are representative of whatever it was the guy in Tokyo was shooting, nor do I think it's the horrorshow people are making it out to be.

...all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

Yeah, I really really doubt its as bad as those photos. Well, one good thing is that dude that's at the everlasting birthday party put up a video of Batman the other night so Luke can't be far off. Although he didn't even show the Batman head without that tape HT puts on them. Watch him do that with Luke.

I agree. Much better a varied and busy thread than a Star Wars Bukake with HT's Luke as the center piece.

So it was stated the batman and Luke were just samples. Well, this is how Bats went from proto to finish. I still think it looks good, if not as well as the proto.

Double wow. A major part of Bale's "look" is the sucked-in cheeks and the final head actually has a bit of the reverse - some Baldwin-like jowls. And he looks like he's over fifty.

Without any context, I'm not sure people would pick the guy on the right as Bale, at least not instantly.

Thanks for posting, I don't collect TDK - that's a little shocking for HT. And pertinent to this conversation!

It actually looks a little better than that in other photo's.

The cowl head though is a bit off, funny shape and acme eyes.

No it's not. That's an extreme close up as well. It don't look that bad in person. It may not be as dead on as the proto but still good.
