Double wow. A major part of Bale's "look" is the sucked-in cheeks and the final head actually has a bit of the reverse - some Baldwin-like jowls. And he looks like he's over fifty.

Without any context, I'm not sure people would pick the guy on the right as Bale, at least not instantly.

Thanks for posting, I don't collect TDK - that's a little shocking for HT. And pertinent to this conversation!

it doesn't look too bad but your right about the cheek structure and skin color is what puts it out. Also the chin doesn't seem right.

No it's not. That's an extreme close up as well. It don't look that bad in person. It may not be as dead on as the proto but still good.

I think these pics better illustrates how good the Bale sculpt will look in hand which is just as good if not better than the proto IMO therefore I have no worries about Luke turning out great!

I don't understand how people can judge a sculpt FROM ONE ****ING PHOTO. The human face changes with light, so do these. All sculpts look bad in overblown lighting. This is why figures tend to look better in-hand... they're in a natural setting.
